Quality + Value + Customer Service. John’s has been my go-to pizza spot since I’ve moved to Middletown. Gourmet GIANT slice (think buffalo chicken, bbq chicken or white slice etc) for only $4.75. I’m always full after 1 slice. I’m from NYC so have eaten at more pizzerias than I can count. John’s gets 5 stars for a no-frills local neighborhood pizza spot! (my photos don’t do it justice )

I’ve been ordering from here since it first opened. I always order the tomato avocado salad with grilled chicken, dried cranberries and walnuts, used to be around $14.00. The price has now skyrocketed and today I paid an additional $7.50 for the last 2 items, cost me more for a handful of cranberries and walnuts, than an entire piece of chicken…nearly $24.00 total! I honestly don’t think I can bring myself to go back now! Oh and Robert makes the best pizza and always has a smile on his face.

This is actually embarrassing of John’s. Me and my family order here all the time and the portion gets smaller and smaller everytime . I pay for a house salad for it to be half empty . Sad to say but done ordering here it’s a rip off at this point . Food taste amazing but portion is half empty containers.

Ordered a Balsamic Eggplant Special Hero that my son picked up for me and OMG it was so GOOD. The eggplant was perfect and not heavily breaded, it was perfect, like scilian style. Thank you so much!!!!

I want to like this place so much but the food is so oily. I say oily and not greasy because it’s not in the dirty grimy sense, more of a we just go heavy on the oil type of thing. The food is good but every time I’ve had anything from here my family gets neasous, NOT sick.
It took us three tries before we realized that we just can’t order meals from here. The garlic knots were literally soaking in oil on the last order. The plain cheese pizza is delicious but oily. I would recommend their salads and their pizza but only on occasion.

I ordered a white pizza with meatballs. I received a pizza with red sauce and meatballs. While the pizza was still good it was not what I ordered. The price for my order was $51 and for it to be the wrong pizza it is a little upsetting. Still good Pizza, just wish it had been the White Pizza.

Why do pizza shops insist on putting sugar in their sauce?? Man oh man if someone actually knew to use quality ingredients rather than adding sugar would be a breath of fresh air. Sugar is disgusting and ruins the pie. The service was good but I can’t believe this place was recommended as somewhere to get a pizza. No way.

Long Island girl here ♀️ this pizza was the closest to delish Long Island pizza I’ve had since moving upstate!!
Clearly couldn’t take a picture of the full pie because we couldn’t stop eating it haha but it was amazing and Robert (I believe his name is) was so nice and accommodating
