Absolutely a must to go to every time we visit La Crosse now! Especially go during happy hour, you can’t beat the prices! I tried 5 of the cocktails. They had a Frankenstein special for Halloween, which was really good! Rated starting with the best, but I liked them all.

We sipped on cocktails and enjoyed some jazz music. So much fun!

I’ve always known the Starlite Lounge as a fun, laid-back spot with great live music and solid drinks, which is why last night was so disappointing.

A group of colleagues, friends, and I came in to celebrate a birthday. What should have been a great night quickly turned sour due to the behavior of the manager. He yelled at the birthday girl and abruptly cut our group off over something as minor as moving a chair. There was no warning, no calm conversation, and no attempt to address the issue respectfully.

Had we known there was a problem, we would have been more than happy to fix it immediately. Instead, the situation was escalated unnecessarily and aggressively, which completely killed the vibe—not just for us, but for others around us as well.

I honestly didn’t think this place could be more poorly managed than it was in the year or two prior to COVID, but it somehow defied spectacularly long odds by being worse. It’s frustrating to see such abysmal and incompetent management overshadow what has historically been a really enjoyable establishment.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, it will be hard to return or recommend it unless there’s a serious change in how customers are treated.

Really cool place with a cool vibe, but the bartenders were NOT cool. Evidently when they want to close early, around 8:00 on a Tuesday night, they tell you you’ve been cut off for being too loud. There were only two of us having a pleasant conversation at the bar. There were maybe 4 other people in the whole place. We were not loud, but I got loud after that. So my advice to you is go early and whisper while you’re in there.

This lounge has a vibe that is unlike anything else in the la crosse area. The decor is late 60s, staff is dressed professionally. The cocktails are unique to this establishment. It feels like a speakeasy above the restaurant. If you go to buzzard Billy’s for dinner, hit up starlike after.

One of my favorite stops in La Crosse. Starlight lounge is a throwback to 50’s rat pack type atmosphere- but with modern updates. We enjoyed one (ok several) cocktails, all of which were good. We happened to be there during happy hour so had 8 cocktails and an appetizer for under$50. Crazy good deal at a fun place!

Starlite is a great place to hang out at! Most drinks are pretty good. I tried the a Purple Haze, and I was not a fan of that one. After that, I had the Hazelnut Tiramisu, which was a big redeemer. I think I prefer the creamier cocktails from this place. The cocktails are around $8 each, so this place is worth the look for its fun atmosphere and tasty drinks.

It’s hard to get in on a week night so we patient if you have to wait. I love the cocktails list and the atmosphere is very chill.

What a cool, fun place! My husband and I only went here for drinks after eating downstairs at Buzzard Billy’s Cajun foods. So, I can’t speak to the food but the drinks, especially the cocktails are marvelous. Fun and varied. Desserty or citrusy, just flavorful. There are several chocolate martini choices that are just delicious. And the vibe of the place is like being in a Jetsons cartoon ( yes, I am old). Spacy and retro. Very cool.

Wow best Happy hour in town. 4-7p $3 off martinis. 1$ off bier. Half price appetizers (without the *) poutine was more than enough for two of us to share.

The ambience of this place Is wonderful! I came on a night where there was live jazz music and it really set the mood. Every drink was delicious and I loved there was larger spaces for groups so we could have conversations easier.
