Phenomenal food. The hasbrowns were the best hashbrowns I’ve ever had. The service was amazing. The resturant is this adorable house thats so well redesigned into a resturant that has open space and lots of seating.

I absolutely loved having my meal here. The restaurant is in a great location right next to St. Olaf College. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming with great vibes. I’ve tried several dishes, but my favorite is the meatballs, and my partner’s is the chicken burger. We really enjoyed our meals and can’t wait to come back!

Food is great here. I visited on a night they were supporting a local farm- Sharing Our Roots.. seemed kinda busy. However, I love supporting meaningful businesses and practices. Friendly, small town vibe.
The restaurant was quaint with a somewhat open layout. Wooden booths and wooden tables with chairs for seating options that I saw. Love the local art hanging on the walls.
“Fancy” American cuisine with a little flare.
They have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
We got the Smorgasbord for an app and enjoyed most of the items. Almost wish there was a little more bread or something for the spreads though.
My kids had the Sven Burger with fries (not pictured, ) and loved it. Mom got the Walleye Po’Boy. She loved the greens salad, especially the dressing! I had to go for the Beet Rueben, which was everything I hoped it be.. shredded beat, tangy, savory, yummy bread, so good. We all had to take some food home. Also, mom and I tried the Berry Jam Mojito and the Lemon Roselle for cocktails… yum! Atmosphere was great and all the hosts and servers were lovely.
They offer a 3% discount if you pay with cash.

Cozy restaurant with lovely food and service. Wonderful smorgasbord shareable appetizer – perfect for 2-3 people. Loved the walleye fisk fry, but would have loved to also have the wild rice soup, the Swedish meatballs, or any of the yummy-sounding desserts! Located at the base of the gorgeous St. Olaf College campus!

Such a cute place! Had a very nice time. Great waitress. Nice atmosphere. Food was good, but I wish the portion was a bit bigger as it left me wanting a bit more. I had the Ole Breakfast. Would definitely come again!

The Ole Store Restaurant has a nice brunch on the weekends. Prices are reasonable and wait staff are quick, but the kitchen staff were slow to make scrambled eggs and cheese. Cinnamon rolls were hot out of the oven (but they ran out of Ole Rolls again) and were delicious. The Biscuits and Gravy were wonderful and the French Toast was kinda unique but very tasty.

Went on a whim , and was not dissapointed! Wild rice soup was amazing and flavorful- rosemary buns were great as well. Candles on all the tables & they have the option to eat outside- will definitely be back

First time at Ole Restaurant and the food was good. I’m not sure I would say it’s worth how pricy it is especially with the limited menu and being in a college town too. I would recommend to try it at least once but I’m not sure I would go back again. The service was great and I hear they have good brunch food!

We had the best time here. Really great service, space, and meal. I love the fresh and seasonal menu. Everything is comforting and delicious. We especially appreciated chatting with the owner and a large selection of non-alcoholic beverages for the sober crowd. And I highly recommend the cider.
