I’m not a fan of leaving negative feedback, but Bella’s Pizza of Bristol was appalling. And people should know what they’re getting into.

I ordered 5 sweet chili wings and a small pepperoni pizza.

When my wings arrived, I immediately noticed that they were nothing more than boiled and doused with sweet chili sauce. I ate two and spared my palette the remaining three.

The pizza was on par with something you’d expect to buy at a gas station. It was undercooked and had way too much cheese.

While ordering, I asked for a cup for water and was told I would have to buy a bottle of water. I said, “no thanks.” What kind of restaurant does not have water available on hand?

I want to point out that I was very hungry and was unable to enjoy anything I bought. And oh, this was $21.

I’ll put things into perspective …

I could have purchased 2 medium 2 topping pizzas AND an order of wings from Domino’s for $20. Why didn’t I? I wanted to give this local pizza joint a chance. But it failed miserably.

The inflated prices are an attempt to makeup for poor revenue. Counterproductivity at its finest.

I was the only person in there and not once did someone ask me how everything was … because even the employees know that the quality of their food is garbage. Or maybe they don’t.

I’m happy I tried this place, because I won’t ever have to worry about coming back here.

Low quality food + low quality service is a recipe for disaster. I have put a lot more effort into this review than I anticipated.

Pride and passion go a long way, so why not change your ways?

This is has been my favorite pizza place in Bristol since I first had it as a kid back in 1998. The pizza is original, it can be messy but that’s what makes it good. Awesome cheese and sauce, with good crust. The bread sticks are unique and are extremely good as well as their cheese sticks. They’ve always kept some very good employees over the years, and the owner is very professional.

Paid $27 for a pizza that was the most under cooked, lousy, sloppy, wet pizza I’ve ever had. Went to pick up a slice and the bottom of the pizza was wet and doughy, all the toppings fell off. I took the pizza back in, they remade one and I checked it when I got in my car and it was exactly the same. Worst pizza place I’ve ever been. If you like soggy wet pizza this is the place to go. I strongly do not recommend this place as I will NEVER eat here again.

Overall, it’s a decent little place with pretty good pizza. I might have gone 3 stars on the food, but since it was a special and it was only 10$, I felt that offset it some. Atmosphere is a very centered around after sports pizza and local teams, which is fun, and the girls behind the counter were very nice. The pizza itself is just okay with the crust flavor being the best part. The texture was soft and a little doughy/ greasy, so you couldn’t really pick it up at all without a little mess. I was pre-warned to get it well done but i like to try and review based on how it’s presented naturally.

The food and the environment is amazing. Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Definitely hands-down best pizza in all of Virginia. There are two beautiful women that work there (Autumn and Jessica) Who are very nice and will do everything they can to meet your pizza or sub needs. I definitely give this place a 10 out of 10

Pizza special on Tuesday. The wait, only a about 10 minutes. Should have been a few minutes longer. The crust was light and airy while there are dough parts throughout. Heard a lady ask for Well done on her pizza as I was heading out. Now I know. The pepperonis were plentiful. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Finished off the leftovers the next day. Still airy with decent sauce and flavor

Its very cold in the dining area. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food was good, however the amount of meat on the Italian sub was noticeably lean in volume. This is the second time dining in I’ve noticed a distinct decline in the small amount of meat on my large Italian sub. So little in fact that two slices were laid on top of each other and only covered a half of the width of the sandwich in one area.
This is unbecoming of Bellas. Maybe it’s time to eat elsewhere for a while.

This used to be our go to place in Bristol for pizza because we support local only when dining however time and time again over the past year our pizzas arrive and they’re either undercooked or missing ingredients or rock, solid and cold. But today we gave it one last shot for lunch, and unfortunately, our cheese pizza was cooked on top but solid black burnt on the bottom and our cheese breadsticks were also burnt to crisp and not edible. I can no longer recommend this place for local pizza 🙁 and wont be ordering again.

I ordered a 16’ pizza when I got home it looked small and I thought maybe they had given me the wrong pizza because there was no sticker or name. I measured it and it was 13’ so I figured they gave me someone’s medium because they are 14’. I called them and they told them about my pizza and they told me to bring it in and they’d figure it out. As soon as I walk in they start asking “ is that the guy that actually measured his pizza” while laughing at me. The man who I assume is the manager ( he was about 5’6 -5’8 and 270-300 lbs mid twenties or early thirties) asks to see my pizza and then rudely said we’ll go ahead and get out your tape because I think that’s 16’ , I said I didn’t bring it then I offered to show this picture and he said no I’ll measure it in a hateful and rude tone. Several minutes passed by they were all in the back laughing at it and I got some mean looks, he came back and said I can make you a personal pan or another large, I told him whatever he preferred I didn’t mind. My pizza is still open in the back the entire time and got cold he didn’t try to heat it up or anything yelled my last name once the personal pan was done and didn’t offer an apology or sorry for the inconvenience he just walked off shaking his head. Very rude and sad, this was my favorite pizza place growing up and the only complaint I’ve ever had, but the rude service and underwhelming pizza I will not be returning. I hope the man that was so rude learns to treat people with respect instead of mocking them with the other workers and being incredibly rude before that once wonderful pizza place is ran into the ground.
