I used to be vegan and was really excited to try this new vegan restaurant! I guess it started with food trucks, and now they have a brick and mortar. Just a short walk from the Kaleidium, so can eat right after a visit there! We tried Fiesta Fries (Doused in “cheese”, onions, vegan meat, guac… Delicious), the Clasico burger, and kid’s grilled cheese. Thumbs up for each! Couldn’t even tell it was vegan meat. And they have gluten free burger buns (but not hot dog)! Mike’s also partners with other local vendors to sell their products. They have a whole case of fresh-pressed lemonade that has different flavors – blueberry, kiwi, strawberry, mango, etc, – as well as a vegan mango lassi. They also have a whole case of oat milk based ice cream with lots of yummy flavors (we didn’t sample those yet). Really sweet and helpful servers. Will definitely be coming again!

I am so grateful for Mike’s Grill. This is my 2nd time eating here. The food is awesome, and lots of great choices. I had the What the Cluck and my wife had the BBQ sandwich. Both were delicious and the juices are a treat. I have tried the blueberry, and passion so far. I will be back here many times, do yourself a favor a treat yourself to Mike’s Grill.

Great food! Kids had chickn tenders and fries, yummy. Fried Oyster mushroom sandwich was shared by all. Samosas and Lentil stew were delicious too. End with mango lassi and chocolate chip cookies! Everyone left happy. Staff is amazingly friendly. Go there next time you’re at Kaleideum.

We were always big fans of the food truck when we lived in the area so we were super excited to see they have a brick & mortar place in Winston! Crew was super friendly & owners are just amazing humans. Love that it’s 100% vegan & SO delicious! This location also has some amazing Indian food available that is wonderful. You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy this comfort food!

Visiting the area, first time at this restaurant. Service was very friendly. Place was nice and clean. I had the Philly cheesesteak with plain fries. My wife had the oyster mushroom with sweet potato tots. Both were great. I’m excited to come back and try some other menu items.

Had the Philly cheesesteak and chocolate pie tonight… as a born and raised Philadelphian who just watched the Eagles completely disappoint their fan base for the second game in a row, I still took some comfort in having such a delicious cheesesteak that happens to be vegan. And the pie was soooo good, it was worth the friendly trash talk from the Dallas fan who worked there, lol. The only thing I would nitpick is the bread… it just needed to be toasted a little bit more so it was firm on the outside but still soft in the inside. But the “meat” and “cheese” was so delicious – very legit, Anyway, I’m so glad I found this place – only visiting for the weekend, but will definitely come back the next time I’m in NC.

Fourth time here and still very pleased. Food is excellent and friendly staff that are there to answer any questions about plant based food if your new to it. Every time we come we try something new. Today we had chicken and waffles, lentil stew and taco salad.

We have ordered from Mike’s on several occasions and genuinely enjoy both the flavors and the variety of food they offer. However, this is now the third time our order has arrived either incorrect, incomplete, or poorly prepared. Greater attention to accuracy and presentation is needed, particularly with delivery orders. The photos attached reflect the condition of the food upon arrival, and it is clear that the issue originated with the packaging process, not the delivery driver.
