In a world filled with chain restaurants and “me too” dining, it’s great to know places like Mangos and Marley still exist. A quaint cafe in Dunedin, the Johnston family has created a place of good vibes, positive energy, and great food. Catering to beer lovers and people that want to eat healthy/delicious food, this is a place to come in and experience that life is good.

We tried to order the black bean hummus and apparently the truck didn’t deliver it? I found it odd they don’t make it at the restaurant especially when the other menu items had a lot of black beans on plates. The tostada was very crunchy, guacamole w/ shredded coconut on top. The crab cakes were light, fresh and tasty according to our friends. My husband asked for steak Cuban bowl, he was served shredded chuck roast kind of meat, it was fine. I ordered steak quesadillas, my meat was the same tough, dry shredded beef of some sort. Our server was friendly, took a minute to bring an extra plate for appetizers, wanted our orders first. It was an underwhelming early dinner.

Wonderful chill, little Cuban place. So fresh and stylish with appropriately-portioned and priced dishes. Absolutely loved the sweet and savory Bahama bowl and the Mango iced tea is perfectly sweetened (not too much!) Everyone enjoyed their meals, including the kiddos who all took grilled cheeses which are made with crusty bread. Overall, great experience!

This is our new favorite place in Dunedin! So many beers to choose from and the food is amazing. Wife had crab cakes (yummy) and I had the Ropa Vieja (called The Abuela). Super good. Bartender was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Mangos and Marley hits the sweet spot of both having a delicious and interesting beer selection paired with really good and actually healthy food.
Since I moved to Dunedin it’s been my go-to for dinners or lunch when I can’t be bothered to cook. I’ve never had a bad experience there.
They also have live music sometimes and it’s been super chill every time I’ve been around for it.

The food at Mangoes & Marley’s is like nothing else in Dunedin! We love this cute cafe! They have wonderful vegetarian dishes. They have lots of dishes with mangoes, beans, great selection of beers, wines & ciders that are always changing. Just a cute place to hang out. I can recommend the Tostadas. I could eat them every time, except that I order something different every time. I like variety what can I say? We also love the Ropa Vieja sandwich, the Main street salad & the Cuban Bowl. We have not had
anything we don’t absolutely love.
Update: I can also say the Bahama Bowl is fantastic. I ordered it with the housemade mango, lime dressing. Phenomenal! The crab cakes are also one of our favorites.
Actually, we have tried crab cakes in several other places in Dunedin, and we can say the crab cakes at Mango and Marley’s are the best of any!

Very nice setting as they have limited outdoor seating right on Main St. I had a chicken and mango sandwich on pressed Cuban bread, which was delicious, but it was a bit on the skimpy side as far as the chicken. The bread it was on was excellent though. I was also a bit disappointed that there was no coffee/iced coffee/cold brew drinks. I did have a mix of strawberry lemonade and iced tea, which was delicious though. A very good overall experience.

My absolute favorite place to eat in Dunedin. It’s a little coastal café that feels light, airy, and comfortable inside — the kind of place you want to linger. My go-to order is the fire-roasted bowl, which has just the right amount of heat from the jalapeños, and I always add an extra side of the street corn because it’s so yummy.
They also have an amazing, constantly rotating selection of craft beers. One of the best parts is letting the owner, Graham, pick a beer for me as a surprise — it’s always fun and always a great choice. A true local gem.
