Reviews
The steak personally is a little bit too salt.
If I need a lot of salt in my steak I will probably bring a gallon of water so I can be ready to eat it.
The Mac and cheese is amazing!!!!!!!
It’s the best I have ever tasted.
Believe me you have to try it.
The word Amazing can’t describe it.
It’s sooooo good I can’t believe it’s better than the steak.
My guess is they put garlic in it.
Every little bit I felt like I have a little bit joy tears coming out my eyes.
Great job who made those !!!!!
The table service is okay.
Make sure you ask two cups of water or more drinks because the waiter might not come again before your checkout.
I felt like I was left all alone in the middle of desert with just one drink.
I wish I can get more drinks.
Overall good food with okay service, but very friendly staffs.
The location is very nice looking, and picks up where places like Huston’s used to inhabit. We made a reservation via open table and were seated promptly. The host failed to provide a drink menu. Instead we were given the LARGE ONE PAGE Menus. This is absolutely terrible for sales. By the time the server showed up with the menu… most will have passed on cocktails for water or soda.
Lollipop hot wings? They are double dropped in the fry to make them crispy. But the sauce is exactly the same as any other Sysco Foods supplied restaurant. Ryan didn’t care for them. We also ordered some steak egg rolls and deviled eggs. Nothing special there.
I tried the Hibiscus margarita. Had an odd peppermint after taste. (Wouldn’t recommend)
I asked the server about the shaved steak sandwich. I was assured that it was “cooked to medium”. We asked if they could make it rare or at least try. “Sure”… The grey, dried out, jerky level meat, made Arby’s sandwiches seem like Filet. The fries were old and cold. Ryan gave up at less than 1/4 of the sandwich.
Salmon and Short Rib were much better received.
Server would disappear for long stretches and glasses sat empty longer than I would have liked. (Cuts into sales too.) No Sam Adam’s? Why did it take so long to figure that out… come back and tell me… then get something else? Ended up with a Flying Dog eventually. There is no hustle what so ever, and you see servers standing around doing nothing while plates pile up. I guess they figure considering the food prices the tips will, “still be pretty good”.
The food isn’t bad, It’s just not good. If they think that this sandwich is medium… I would never order a steak here.
We were sited immediately when we came.
Enjoyable atmosphere, music, interior and top notch service left very good impression in general.
❗️BUT:
– There were no napkins at all.
– The entrees were served but no forks. We had to ask the waiter to bring it.
– We have ordered steakhouse salad, and medium cooked Fillet Mignon ( the wait time was OK!) But the Steak came out over cooked (almost well-done), so we had them redo it.
– But the second one was excellent!
– And salad was delicious too!
Not excellent, but very good overall impression!
4.5 from 5
Tried the Pan Seared Scallops, a little pricey, but a great dish as well.
Great service (sat at the bar) too!
