Visited this place with my teammates and had a great experience.
We don’t handle spicy food well, so we requested mild or no spice, and everything came out exactly as requested.
The stir-fried chicken rack had a very authentic Northeastern Chinese flavor — sweet and tangy, well-balanced, and comforting.
The Northeastern grilled cold noodles were also good, especially if you like a slightly sweet and sour taste.
The highlight was definitely the BBQ skewers. The lamb skewers and grilled chicken wings were flavorful, well-seasoned, and had that classic northern-style BBQ taste.
Overall, a solid spot for authentic Chinese-style skewers.

This is by far the best Chinese skewer place I’ve ever had in the bay! First of all, they have a great variety of beef selections, including raw beef, which was the first time I tried this authentic North Eastern Chinese food. The restaurant might look a little sketchy from the outside but it’s completely different when we opened the door. It opens until 2am so it’s perfect for friends gathering. We didn’t get to order everything to try. From what we ordered, the skewers are on the salty side but are not spicy. Good portion and big chunks of meat with an average of $10 for each type. You might want to come with someone who speaks and reads mandarin for the best experience, though.

Finally! A place that has makes Chinese bbq skewers and dishes authentically, especially if you want to try food from Dongbei. Obviously you’re going to get the best skewers in the Bay Area. Shockingly, this place is from Los Angeles. Surprised it opened here in the Bay Area since so many here only care about sleeping early, waking up early to go to their engineering job, or hiking. But, if you’re all that and still want to enjoy the flavors of life, then you have to give this place a try. A diamond in the rough.

Had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We made a reservation for 3 people at 6:30pm, and we did not get seated until 7:30. After we got seated, there was no utensil or water until after 30 min. The food took forever to arrive. The first plate of the food that finally arrived was some cold veggie dishes that doesn’t even require cooking, and it wasn’t here until 8pm and we had to follow up several times for the food. The first skewer dish finally got here after another hour. And the server was very unapologetic when we asked about when the food will arrive. She basically told us that if you want to have Chinese skewer in the Bay Area on weekend, this is the speed you should expect. But none of the other skewer places we’ve been to were this slow. We eventually ran out of patience and left at 9:30 (3 hours in), and we canceled the rest of our order as they still haven’t started cooking it. We left with an empty stomach and had to go to McDonald’s to feed ourselves. The taste of the food was very meh, and it’s quite pricey as well. Would not recommend this place to anyone. If you want skewer, there are plenty of far better options in the Bay Area
