This ice cream shop was well worth visiting. I love it!! My friend suggested Sweetie’s, and it did not disappoint me!! I had the hard, butter pecan icecream, and it was absolutely delicious!! While I live far from Sweetie’s, I will definitely be back when I am near Freeport. Sweetie’s, thanks for the kind service as well.

Sooo good. I was driving past and decided to stop. I got the cannoli ice cream on a waffle cone. The ice cream was mascarpone flavored with miniature chocolate chips and cannoli shell pieces throughout. The serving sizes are huge. 10.00 minimum to use your card. The lovely lady who waited on me was so sweet. There’s plenty of seating with some benches on both sides of the ordering windows. Parking right in front in a gravel lot. Highly recommend!

I love Sweetie’s. They’ve been the background for many summer days and little celebrations. They’ve always had the nicest employees, and a great selection of flavors. Prices are good and you get SO MUCH ice cream. I don’t think there will be a day that we ever stop coming here. It’s our designated family spot ☺️

One of our favorite ice cream stands in the area. They have Perry’s, Hershey’s & Dole ! Plenty of options. They even started carrying dairy free & sugar free. Generous portion sizes too. Highly recommend !

Overall, having a nice, refreshing ice cream dessert at Sweetie’s is a pleasant experience on a warm, muggy, summer evening.
The flavor selection is extensive. Quality ice cream. Best yet, for example, this time I ordered their cheesecake dessert and they do not go skimpy on the cheesecake (or other condiments). If anything, they may go a little too much, but that’s OK!
This may seem critical, but nonetheless an issue. They never seem to have napkins available (or at least the times I go there have never been any). I’m in the practice of putting napkins in my car’s glove box in hand.
Sweetie’s is a clean and well kept eatery that does a great job of preserving the outdoor ice cream experience of years past. Well worth the drive and time.
