We really don’t know what to say about Ramen Osaka other than it’s had a disappointing decline. We’ve been coming here for years, pre renovation and everything. This used to be THE spot. My friends and I would gather here after school, my parents and I would walk over for dinner, and it was all around an amazing addition to the neighborhood! We’re not sure what has changed but it certainly hasn’t changed for the better. The service is fine and the location is great being inside of EV Square and with parking around. The real issue lies in the food, it just isn’t good.

The noodles have a taste to them, we can’t pinpoint it exactly, but it just isn’t quite right. The chashu is also just not good, very dry and without flavor. Even the toppings are underwhelming. We ended up just wrapping things up early and taking our food to go. We don’t want to rag on them too much because this used to be a much better local spot so hopefully they can figure things out, but as it stands this just was not good food.

Delicious ramen with no additives! It tastes clean and fresh, and the best part is that I didn’t feel thirsty after eating. Truly amazing!

Lina provided an exceptional customer service experience. From the moment you enter the establishment, you are greeted with warmth and kindness by Lina and her team. They promptly take your order and create a comfortable atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. Lina’s bright and cheerful demeanor, coupled with her unwavering kindness, exemplifies the exceptional nature of customer service. Her dedication and hard work are truly commendable. Lina and her husband are highly respected members of the family-oriented restaurant security team. The Evergreen community appreciates their efforts and ensures their safety while they patrol the Evergreen community site. / ℯ ℯ

Salty broth with just OK flavor. We had vegetarian and non-vegetarian orders. Not many vegetables and frankly didn’t seem fresh. Restaurants is pretty dirty, very dirty windows, cobwebs, and tables smell like wiped down with old rag.

However service was friendly and prompt. They also gave us complimentary soft shelled crab. Not sure why.

Store is cozy and fansitic. Many students are there at the time I come. I order Toasted Rice Milk Tea, but taste is light tea.

The ramen is decent but they have crossed out some items on the menu. Hand pulled noodles, spinach noodles, and kakuni are no longer options.
Although the ramen broth flavor is fine, we were disappointed that they didn’t offer chicken karage. We got the popcorn chicken, fried oysters and fried tofu. We would not get appetizers again. The batter was not great, the popcorn chicken pieces were teeny and the pepper powder was so powdery, it doesn’t stick to your food. It’s like snorting dry chili powder as you are eating it. It goes down the wrong pipe.
Then when we tried to eat ramen under their tents, we had a hard time drinking soup broth with the teeny cheap plastic spoons. It wasn’t even standard size plastic spoons. Would be nice if they gave plastic ladle spoons.

All in all, it was not a good dining experience. As much as we like to support neighborhood restaurants, it was a fail.
Even the ramen place at oak ridge mall is better… and that place is just okay.

Had vegetation ramen and edamame. One of the delicious ramen. Everything tasted fresh, homemade without preservatives. I loved the tofu texture, soft and creamy but outer layer fried in right extent. Overall although very limited vegetarian options, its a must to have dish and was very satisfying.

Was looking for a ramen place I haven’t tried locally and I came upon this place. I think I ordered the Black Garlic Osaka Tonkotsu with the super green spinach noodles. You have to add extra toppings at an additional cost. Which made the whole thing more expensive. This is the first time that I go to a ramen places that charges for most toppings. Although it was more expensive than normal, it was still pretty good. Definitely will go back though. They also have tea drinks which is nice.
