The Louisiana inspired soul food here was delicious. My sister and I visited and she got the neck bones with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and I got the garlic chicken pasta. Both were great and I can’t wait till I’m back in town to try more items on the menu. We sat down to eat but there was a steady stream of customers putting in orders to go.

I recently came to try this because it was highly recommended however, I’m saddened to say that I was disappointed. When you first walk in the dining area is about the size of the hallway. They only have barstool chair chairs, and each table has about two chairs each. The staff was nice. However, asked for the food I was disappointed. The collard greens tasted like nothing but vinegar. The mac & cheese needed to be seasoned. The chicken and fish for the most part was good. The food does not come with any bread on the side or cornbread. The menu itself was very Slim and the restroom is not in the restaurant you have to go to the other restaurant next-door. Overall, I would rate this place, a five out of 10. I was excited to try this food, but sad at what I received.
