Before you visit: you might be confused by the entrance door; it’s shared between two restaurants. Yes, two in one.
I want to start this review by saying that it’s very difficult to find a restaurant with delicious ramen noodles. Having lived in Asian countries for a long time, I can say that this noodles are 5-star quality. The small details, the aroma of the broth, the pieces of meat- everything was delicious! The restaurant also offers a lunch combo at a reasonable price (lunch and appetizer) 20-25$

No complaints and would recommend! The service was great since we walked in the door and the food was just the same. We ordered a few appetizers which came out in a timely manner and 2 bowls of ramen. The food tasted great and definitely hit the spot (especially if you’re wanting Ramen).

Dined here about a couple months ago and enjoyed the delicious food and good service. There’s an entrance to the restaurant from the front exterior of the mall (near the parking lot) and another entrance just a few steps inside of the Broadway Mall. Restaurant was very clean, bright, and spacious; has a very good dining atmosphere and décor. Restaurant was quiet when dined here for lunch. Waiter was attentive and courteous. We had the kinya ramen combos with takoyaki and shrimp tempura. The ramen broth was rich and a little creamy, noodles were great, pork was delicious, but the ramen egg had a very strong chemical taste, like it was possibly over-marinated. I love the complimentary prawn chips; it’s a wonderful childhood nostalgia snack. Overall, the food was satisfying, delicious, and very filling.

Sarah was great! Super attentive and a pleasant host. She was very sweet and great with suggestions since I am so indecisive. Ask for her if you come by! She was sweet to me and my family and made our Saturday night great. Food was amazing, brought out fast, and enough to have a whole other meal at home! Highly recommend

We come here religiously with family once a month to try out different things on both the Kinya/Hook & Reel menu for the past two years and so far they have not disappointed us. Food looks great and tastes great. Their service is also top notch. Shout-out to Ian for the amazing service and always getting our orders right down to the letter.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Kinya Ramen and Hook & Reel, both located at the same place. It was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was too-notch and the service was truly outstanding.
The broth for the Ramen was flavourful and the Char Sui was tender and juicy as well. The king crabs and snow crabs were amazing too! The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations.
Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you’re in the Hicksville area, be sure to check it out!
