Me and my husband were in town for 1 night driving through from Houston and looking for some good desi food, we chose NJOY Curry Masala and it did not disappoint. The food was 10/10 dare I even say the best aloo palak I’ve ever had, everything tasted fresh and homemade not too heavy at all. The food wasn’t as spicy as many Indian restaurants we visit but the flavor was on point. My husband is a goat lover and got the Rogan Josh and the meat was sooo tender and perfect. The naan and rice was also delicious. We got the halwa (carrot) for dessert and it was just as delicious- fresh and hot. The service was very friendly and attentive as well, I wish we lived closer so we could enjoy often!

Indian Cuisine and it was so amazing. The wait to be seated, to order, to get food was all a little long……BUT after I got the food, it was so good I didn’t care. So if you’re in the mood for quick food and service… you better slow it down because you’ll be missing out on this great food! I recommend ordering Lamb Rogan Josh (spicy) , an order of garlic Naan, and Samosa Chaat…. I enjoyed every bite!

EDIT: I have had all of these dishes made correctly before at multiple restaurants and never once has bhindi masala and kadai tasted or looked like that. Your food is bland and caters to white people.
I ordered the shrimp kadai, bhindi masala, and butter chicken and its all the same sickeningly sweet tomato sauce, only difference is one has okra, one has shrimp, and one has chicken. These dishes are wrong and inauthentic, just a sad attempt to cater to white people. I moved here from houston and once again have been disappointed by the mockery the restaurants here like to make of food that isn’t cajun, creole, or something fried and tasteless.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had hands down! I didn’t take any pictures and I am sad about that. But it was literally so good I didn’t even think about a picture!
Some things I would recommend trying Chicken-65 on the appetizer menu.
The Chicken Shahi Korma is SOOO GOOD!!
The Chicken fried rice! Oh my lord! So different. So good!
Bagara Baingam (eggplant in a coconut sauce!
NAAN is all out of this world!
Seriously the best Indian food I’ve ever had!

Delicious Indian food!! All that we ordered was good. I’d say the veggie biryani was the best though! The mixed tandoori plate was a little dry, but surprisingly when I ate the leftovers later, it was very moist !
The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Fantastic hours, open decently late for dinner ! Great location, very near downtown. Hopefully they make it for years to come !
Will definitely come back here

Quick service, amazing food, great seating and atmosphere. 10/10 eating experience. The lamb vindaloo was the perfect spice and there were many choices of bread. I felt like i should have paid $40 for food of this quality and amount but it was only 20 for the whole meal!

What an incredible menu! We had the (lol basic I know!) butter chicken, lamb korma and garlic naan and it was incredible, flavorful, and tender as usual! I highly recommend them for great food, especially for those of us new to Indian food (ok those of us like me who can’t handle spice as well as my husband who can!). Nice staff, great food, and same great experience in person of via DoorDash!

I ordered chicken biryani, garlic naan, and butter chicken for delivery, and everything was pretty good. The food arrived hot, fresh, and neatly packaged with zero spills or mess.
The chicken biryani was wonderfully aromatic and packed with flavor—tender chicken, fragrant basmati rice, and spices that blended beautifully. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, slightly sweet, and incredibly comforting, the kind of dish you can’t stop going back to. The garlic naan was warm, soft, and full of garlicky goodness without being overwhelming, ideal for scooping up every bit of sauce. Portions were generous, too—I even had leftovers for the next day.
If you’re after a satisfying meal at a reasonable price, this place is a great choice. Best Indian Restaurant in Lafayette a city that lacks great ethnic food.

Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant everything from the service to the food is 5 . The chicken fried rice and the chicken masla noodles are the best around.

10/10! I arrived here at about 5:30pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant had about 3 other tables filled, and people ordering and picking up take-out. I sat down and immediately one of the waiters asked me what I wanted to drink. I read the menu for a little and then decided to get the Chicken Tikka Masala as my entree with a medium spice level and a garlic naan. I started looking at the menu again and decided to get the Honey Chili cauliflower as an appetizer. My entree came before the appetizer but yall when I took a bite it was over with! The food was seasoned to perfection. My Tikka Masala was creamy. The cauliflower came and it tasted like chicken. So crispy, sweet, and spicy at the same time. For dessert I ordered the gulab jamun. It tasted like bread pudding but much softer and richer. The guys kept checking on me to see if I was okay throughout my dining. I thought the price of my food would be much more, but it was definitely good for the servings and amount of food that I got. This is the second time that I’ve visited this restaurant, and I will most definitely be back! Thanks NJoy!
