I’ve been coming here since I was a kid but it’s been a while since I’ve been back. During Covid when they were at the corner during renovations was the last time. I remember the food tasting the same. I’ve never been a huge fan of anything here besides the Pollo à la Brasa and the Jalea familiar. The pollo tastes just how I remember and it’s prob up there with my favorites. If you’re going just pollo, do ittttt. I usually get it with salad and fries and I make a dressing mix with the green hot sauce and mayo and put it on top of the fries and salad. Such an elite combo.

Atmosphere was alright. I feel like with how long renovations took, the place should look better. It’s so dull and boring. But whatever I guess.

The staff was alright. I asked for causa to try it and it never came and it ended up on my bill so that was a thing but not a huge deal.

Overall, I’ll always come back for the pollo and jalea. Anything else? I’m alright

Mistis in portchester is a no frills, immensely clean, and newly renovated Peruvian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious, and it comes out very quick. They give you nice warm dinner rolls right when you sit down l. My favorite is the llomo or Pollo Saltado. The best !

Have visited this renovated place and felt like they actually have been hearing feedback and probably listened.

One of those was to consider heating up the bread instead of serving cold. They listened and when visited wanted return business to them. But after 3 visits the restaurant has went back to cold and maybe different bread.

Like my feedback if you believe they should maintain consistency. Give thumbs for heated bread over cold. I will rate lower for going backwards.

I came to this place out of the blue and WOW, 5 stars for great service, a sizable portion of delicious food, low prices, and an extensive menu with many food options. You will not be disappointed. The food was really flavorful, I had the Lomo Saltado and my partner the Rotisseried Chicken… it was soooooo friggin good I drove to this place from Brooklyn lol

The food was average and the ambient is ok, but the worse thing happened later after we paid the check they kicked us out… We are not coming back.
The food like I said was ok, we ordered fried shrimp and salad with french fries and my wife got a fish with shrimp sauce and a bottle of wine. The whole experience was ok until we got kicked out.

This is the worst restaurant in portchester ny. The food is good and cheap but the service that they give you is not worth going,, if you don’t order fast, they take away your menu, don’t know why, is so stupid, how are you going to order then, don’t understand.. anyway don’t go there,

I was very disappointed with the food and service tonight. It’s a Tuesday night so it wasn’t that busy. The service was very, very slow. I kid you not, I was just here on Saturday night and my food was out within 15 minutes. I ordered the Bistec de pobres. The steak was tough, fries underneath were greasy and inedible, and the rice was sticky. Just gross and trust me when I tell you, I would never waste a French fry! That’s like sacrilege. Not even the green sauce helped. The fried egg came out halfway through the meal, which already took 45 minutes to come out. All in all, a horrible tasteless experience. Do yourself a favor and order the lomo saltado which has a lot of flavor.

I’ve ordered from this place several times since they reopened, and unfortunately, the food quality has been very hit or miss. A few times they’ve forgotten items like the aji, rice, or salad. On one occasion, I ordered ahead of time, only to arrive and find they had forgotten half my order—so I still had to wait.

Today was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to leave a review. I ordered the jalea and ocopa. The jalea looked crispy at first, which I was happy about, but it turned out to be so dry and hard that it was difficult to chew. The flavor and texture just weren’t there. The ocopa was okay, but it definitely needed more sauce. The onions that came with the jalea were extremely bitter and had a strong smell, like they hadn’t been rinsed properly before being served.
