This was my first time at Wah Sing Dim Sum. I wanted a quick bite and saw this place had good reviews. And those reviews were right! I’m not a pork eater, so I was a little limited, but the Har Gow, a classic, was spot on! Well seasoned, fresh, good size/portion. The shrimp and chive dumplings, also delicious! I also got the chicken buns and shrimp rice noodle which were delicious. The only thing was the shrimp egg rolls, I think I may have gotten the wrong thing, because they looked to be filled with ground meat (not sure if it was pork) and not shrimp. But I was told they were good too!

They do have a few tables and chairs inside to eat there. But it looked like everyone was getting takeout. You just walk in, fill out a sheet with your order, pay and wait for a very short time for your food. Very quick and easy, no nonsense kinda place. Which I very much appreciated!

I will definitely be back to Wah Sing Dim Sum when I’m in the area. It was great!

Best dim sum I’ve had since living in the Bay! Everything made me go yummmm! Soft pillows of goodness they call Coconut buns were divine! Soup dumplings, pork buns, lotus balls, egg yolk buns, all fresh, tasty, not greasy, just ahmazing!
Only 3 stars atmosphere because it is simple, take away focused. Which is fine. Clean and light. I think there is seating that was blocked off behind screen – maybe because there is construction in parking lot.

My new favorite dim sum spot. They are more of a to-go type of establishment but there are a few seats to grab if you’re looking for a quick bite. You order and pay first, then they will call your number to pick up your food.

I’m a pretty basic eater when it comes to dim sum. I love cheung fun, shiu mai, paai gwat (spare ribs), bolo bao, and nai wan bao (custard buns). This restaurant overtook the location Bahn Mi Che Cali was at. There might be a wait as some items, such as cheung fun, are made to order so it’s super fresh. When eating there I wish they packed my items so I’m wasting less styrofoam. I feel bad throwing it out right after consuming the food inside. I would be happy if they shoved everything into one container or just gave them to me on a plate. If eating there let them know you are and they’ll also give you tea which I thought was nice. You know it’s a real when the lady up front yells orders to the back. Lol. Oh, there is a menu with pictures of each item on the counter in case you need a reference. I don’t speak Chinese but was still able to order (their son speaks English but wasn’t present some days I visited).

Fav dishes: cha sui and cilantro cheung fun and custard buns (#2 on their menu).

Parking: Can be plentiful or limited depending when you arrive.

Payment methods: Major credit cards ($15 minimum) and cash.

Seating: 4 small tables as in the included picture.

Notes: As of 6/7 they will be closed Wednesday’s.
All other days 8am – 4pm.

I grew up in SF and I remember my parents always bringing home dim sum back to family who do not travel. But now I’m grown and I have to bring stuff back to family who do not travel anymore and now I’m more regularly in SoCal but I think I’ve found my go to place. The cha sui baos, sesame balls, the shrimps/chives dumplings, the fried stuff rice balls with pork were so good. Price was very fair. My family all enjoyed the dumplings and baos. I will be back here again.

Newly opened dim sum to-go restaurant that took over the Vietnamese to-go fast food place.

They do have decent dim sum items with reasonable prices. For a fast dim sum fix without waiting for a table, this is the place to pick up some of your favorite dim sums including, sesame balls, har gaw, Siu mai, egg rolls, glutinous rice in lotus leaf wraps and more. Most of them are under $5.

The dim sums tend to be sold out early. They are still in soft opening mode. Maybe they have not worked out their work flows yet.

They are trying provide good service but seemed to be disorganized. I guess we just have to give time to work out the kinks.

There are few tables with chairs for people to eat their dim sum but it’s self service as this outlet is meant for take outs.

Thanksgiving morning, decide to get some dim sum to eat. Found this new place on yelp, price is reasonable, the food is pretty tasty, however, all have very little fillings in them. The best dishes for me are the salted egg yolk bun and glutinous rice. As for my 6 year old boy, he loves the egg rice roll, Chinese sausage bun and fries donut. I will come here again but only for their certain dishes.

This place is meant for takeouts, only a few tables and chairs inside. The open hours are only from 8am to 4pm, service was fast. Pretty reasonable prices, considering the portions were big. They close on Wednesdays!

Mostly take out but few indoor tables. Fast service. $15 credit card min. Food was served at great temperature and ready in 10-15 min despite weekend brunch rush.

For the longest time, this was a very bad Bánh Mì Chè Cali that my friends used to love frequenting. I hate my friends for having dragged me every time they were in town. That’s why I’m SO ELATED with joy that this place has taken over! It’s probably one of the cheaper dim sum options in town, and that’s all they specialize in! Not a lot of seats for you to sit, but you get the idea: Take it home, and enjoy it in a familiar environment!
(。◕‿◕。) Ah…!
Are there better quality options? Maybe, but for the price and convenience, don’t count these guys out!
