The staff here is wonderful! We got the white pizza and added some extra veggies (no extra charge for that) and it was sooooooo good! We will definitely be back soon!

Some of the best pizza I have ever had! The sauce is *chefs kiss*

We got in late to the area for our wedding and had to feed a bunch of people. So we put in an 8 pizza order an hour before they closed and they still had great customer service and had our pizzas ready within 20 minutes!

Little “hole in the wall”, of course. DELICIOUS NYC-style pizza! Delicious sauce, perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio, perfectly crunchy-soft crust, perfectly baked, not burned. Order was ready in about 10 minutes. You will wait in your car or limited space inside the store. Order: Medium cheese. Yum! Recommend

Damned delicious pizza. Not really NY style. The point didn’t flop and force you to fold when you picked up a slice. That said, simply delicious, with a golden brown crust cooked for perfect bite. I’ve been here for a year now and it’s the best that I’ve had so far! Enjoy!

Angelo’s has the best pizza in Asheville. It isn’t greasy and the crust is excellent. Nothin worse than a pizza with way too many toppings and is too greasy and of course doesn’t taste balanced. I have never gotten a bad pizza here. They are always excellent!

Angelo’s is everything it’s supposed to be, and nothing that it’s not. It’s honest, consistent, quality pizza like I grew up with on Long Island, it’s been my favorite spot for 7 years now. It’s not fancy, it’s not “upscale” or a “concept,” and it’s not the place to go for an Instagram photo of a late night slice while brewery hopping, and there’s nothing wrong with those, some are fantastic. It IS the place you go to pickup a good old fashioned pie to bring home and sit in front of the TV just chowing down with your partner, laughing, hanging out, and saying “pizza was a good call, thanks for running to Angelo’s. You won’t have leftovers the next day because you’ll keep going back for another slice throughout the evening, and you’ll go to bed full, happy, and glad you had a great night in.

Their chicken parm sub is perfect, with the sliced breaded chicken cutlet, a nice thick pour of perfectly seasoned red sauce, sealed with a layer of bubbling cheese fresh out of the oven, giving the bread a little crunch while the inside stays soft and fresh. It’s a delicious and simple classic, and everything you want it to be.

It’s always cool to see Angelo working his magic in the kitchen while still interacting with every customer he can. The rest of the team are also solid, great people.

Bottom line: Angelo’s should be your neighborhood staple; the place the whole house thinks of when you say “wanna get some pizza?” They’ve been feeding us good food for years, and for Italians, that’s an act of love. Go show some and pick up a pie!

The BEST New York Pizza in town. Wonderful family business! Nothing else compares, believe me we’ve tried. We’ve been getting our pizza from here for a few years now and we will never stop as long as they’re here. The staff is incredible. They really treat every customer like family. I love getting there early just to talk to the family and staff there.
Thank you Angelo’s Pizza for bringing a little bit of NY here to the WNC area.

Whenever we are in Arden we always stop by Angelo’s for fine pizza!
One day I ordered a large cheese pie. I picked it up drove all the way home 45 minutes to open it to find pepperoni on it. For most people wouldn’t be a big deal. For me I have stomach cancer. The red sauce alone was pushing it but the pepperoni there’s no way!. So I called him and he apologized and told me to come back he would make me another one. I explained to him how far I lived away. He says next time you’re around come by and I’ll make you another pie. Totally acceptable. So about 2 weeks later I’m in town. So I call for the pie. He became so sarcastic about the situation making me feel like I was trying to get a free pizza from him. He said yeah I remember you. So you eat my pizza you come back and now you want a free pie. I said no I just want the pizza that I originally ordered with no pepperoni. He continued to make me feel like I was trying to get a free pizza. That was not the situation. I just wanted what I ordered. So I met with him face to face and now the story changes. Yes I’ll make you a free pie.BS!
He goes on to tell me that his pepperoni isn’t spicy it’s good. I’m like, yeah I’m sure it is but I have stomach cancer. He totally made me feel terrible. If you want good pizza definitelya place to go. But for treating his customers fairly definitely not a place to be!
Note: I take some responsibility. You should always check your food before you leave and establishment!
But we’re all guilty of this.

Unfortunately he lost the customer. But because he said he’s such a big company losing one shouldn’t make a difference!
