One of my favorite pizza spots on LI.
Their square slices, especially the grandma pizza, are the specialty. I’ve always asked for my slices to be left in the oven a bit longer so I get that extra crunchy crust. Their pastas are also fantastic – their a la vodka sauce is really special.
Staff moves fast and are nice for NY.
It’s a casual spot, with a handful of tables and chairs for those who are staying to eat.
Definitely come check them out!

Gio’s offers a pizza selection so extensive, so mouthwateringly beautiful, that I once blacked out halfway through choosing a slice and woke up in the parking lot whispering, “One more garlic knot…”
Since moving out of state, I’ve experienced true despair. I’d trade my social security number, my last roll of toilet paper, and my dog’s loyalty for a single hot slice. Sorry, Hazel.
I love Gio’s pizza more than air. More than my family. If my house were on fire and I could only save one thing, I’d grab a Gio’s pie and watch the rest burn while whispering, “worth it.”
