I was at this bar last night and witnessed a concerning situation. A visibly intoxicated man collapsed, hit his face, and was bleeding on the floor in the middle of a high-traffic walkway.
Another patron and I moved him one flight of stairs to a safer area so he was no longer in the walkway and could sit upright without being stepped over or further injured. During this, a bouncer responded aggressively instead of calmly managing the situation or prioritizing safety.
An ambulance was eventually called and the situation was handled, which I appreciate. The bartender I had afterward was great, and I did enjoy the rest of the night. However, the initial response from security was unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional. Management may want to consider additional training or staffing for bouncers to ensure situations like this are handled with safety and professionalism first.

My husband and I have been coming to this establishment for years and never have I ever experienced anything like what I experienced tonight on Valentine’s Day. The Dj, if you wanna call him that what’s playing the Lemus music and you could tell it was on purpose because he didn’t like the demographic of his area. The more Culture that started filling up the seats the less cultural music he played. It was almost like he was doing it on purpose and the very last song he played was a song everybody could dance to. So many people walked out tonight and I bet you that club lost a lot of money that Dj needs to get his act together and the owner needs to think about hiring somebody else who’s more diverse. There was literally nobody on the dance floor, except for maybe six or seven of his little groupies until the very last song which was obviously a hip-hop song because that’s what people go to clubs to hear because they can dance to them, and everybody was on the dance floor and he was playing it low as you can imagine. It was lower than all the other songs. The sound was distorted. It was like he was making a mockery of black culture and I think he needs to be canceled.

If you can make it up them steps (LOL). It’s a nice cozy bar. It has a balcony overlooking downtown Anderson, which is very cool. But what I go for is the bowling machine.

We came here to listen to a band we know. The place didn’t get jumping until around 10. Band was rocking. Wings were hot and perfect.
