Came 20 min before opening and was seated around 30 min after opening. Was able to order apps and drinks after joining the waitlist though! My friends and I ordered the Thai calamari, calamari fries, prime rib, mauka makai, and grilled fish. The calamari fries and grilled fish were my fave! The prime rib order was HUGE – we shared 1 portion amongst 2 people and only finished about half. I thought the prime rib was a bit too thick and chewy, but the flavor was still good. The mangorita drink was my fave! The lilikoi creme brulee and baby cake were both delicious. Our server was so kind and accommodating. Great ambience here, and the price was very fair considering the large portion sizes

This place is an impressive find. The setting is incredible – you can walk around the pond and get some amazing views. I’d recommend checking in first, then taking a stroll through the garden to get some photos while you wait.
The food is good, but you’re mainly here for the view and the atmosphere. Drinks were great, appetizers were solid, and the service was top notch. We sat in the bar area, and even with the limited menu, it was exactly what we needed. I heard they’re famous for the Prime Rib—I wasn’t hungry enough to tackle it this time, but I’ll definitely be back to try it. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

This is one of the best restaurants on the Island. My wife and I arrived 20 minutes before opening and there was already a line. The power had gone out so we had to wait until 30 minutes after opening to get seated and I must say, the wait was worth every minute. I ended up having calamari strips, a cesar salad, bread and their prime rib. All the food was delicious and fresh, my wife had Da’burger which was very tasty. The prime rib was the star of the night, weighing in at 3 pounds bone in, i finished it in one sitting. The meat was cooked very well and had perfect consistency. Our server also was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs, shout out to Christine! And finally the view, how beautiful! They sat us outside where we could get a perfect view of the mountain. 10/10 would come again!

Really good get away for two! They do not take reservations, so get there early. Food was good and the vibes were there, but we thought live music was a nightly thing.
While waiting were able to order drinks to start the night, you can order pupus too. We got seated not long after and already new we wanted to start with the Thai calamari and black and blue ahi pupus. For entrees, we ordered the Grilled fish and Prime rib . All was delicious!

They don’t take reservations, so we had to wait about a half hour to be seated. The service was good, I only say that because the server forgot a couple of items. Maybe that was a good thing since there was so much food. The food came out pretty quick after we ordered. The prime rib is huge. The New York steak with the bourbon finish was flavorful. We were so full after dessert. Will be going again for sure.

What an amazing experience. We came early because they don’t take reservations. Got here at 3:20 on a Saturday because they open at 4. We were seated in the first group as soon as they opened. Ambience and scenery is amazing! Service top notch and the food was exquisite! I had the pork Loin special and the wife had the grilled blue marlin special. Perfect cook on both. Cocktails were great. I will definitely be back for the prime rib. The price turned me off at $74.95 until I saw it come out. The cut is between 2 and 3 pounds per serving! It was enormous! The restaurant is about a half hour drive from Honolulu, so very pleasant experience all around. Don’t sleep on this one!

Beautiful restaurant with good food and friendly service! I arrived closer to 5 pm with my party and there was a 45 minute wait. We decided to walk the gardens around the property, so it went by really fast! If you want to be seated faster, arrive before opening. However, you can also sit at the bar while you wait for a table to open. Haleiwa Joe’s was the highlight of my trip!

The food was excellent here and the views were stunning. Our waiter, Elijah, gave us superb service. We love the escargot, Brussel sprouts, chicken plate and coconut shrimp. We had a mai tai and two chocolate martinis and they were delicious. And don’t sleep on desert! We had a little boy creme brulee and a chocolate baby cake and both were outstanding! We also had boozy coffee with our dessert and we’re not disappointed! Definitely a must do if you are in Kanoehe.

Couldn’t recommend more! We arrived early around 3:30pm, got in line and got to enter in the first group and had an amazing balcony veiw. Our server was extremely friendly and provided over the top service. Drinks and food were amazing. View of course was the best of all. My only regret was not saving room for dessert!

Haleiwa Joe’s at Haiku Gardens is truly a gem! The food is outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The views overlooking the gardens and mountains are breathtaking, making the whole experience unforgettable. The staff provides excellent customer service, always friendly and attentive, which really adds to the warm atmosphere. The only downside is the wait time for seating, but once you’re in, it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect mix of great food, stunning scenery, and top-notch service!
