I personally feel that this is one of the best places in town to get some phenomenal tasty dogs. The Sonoran dog has a great flavor and a nice soft bun. Every bite is packed full of flavor Delicious! Always a go-to when I come here

1 star solely for the food received from the kitchen. This review doesn’t reflect the waiter, she was kind and we heard her repeat back our order correctly…

But if you’re going to have a dedicated plant based menu, then you need to make sure your cooks know 100% how serious it is to ensure they don’t serve meat.

We ordered 2 vegan hot dogs, one Sonoran dog and one Choridog. When we got our food initially the waitress came back after a minute to tell us “Wait! They accidentally put a real meat dog on the Sonoran dog” and she took it back then replaced it.

Once we received back the Sonoran dog we dug in to both our dogs. Immediately when picking up the Sonoran dog it leaked a whole bunch of pico-de-gallo water out of the bottom of the bun. The entire bottom of the bun was mushy and wet. But we powered through anyways, cause we aren’t super picky.

But when we got to the end of both of our dogs we had them sat down and looked at them and noticed the Choridog was real meat and had bacon wrapped around it…

Why would they send her to come back and fix one but not the other? Makes no sense to me. We showed her the issue and she comped the dog for us but honestly, I feel like the meal should have been comped. We’ve been vegan for 5 years for spiritual reasons (converted to spiritual Judaism ✡️) and have not eaten any animals since then… Today we had the sad experience of knowing we put decaying animal parts all into our body…

Pictures show the dog they gave us that has real meat. Rest in peace to those poor animals souls that we accidentally took part in the consumption of.

So delicious!!!!
We had the rib plate. My only issue with it is the portions are small and the price is extravagant.
Each rib only has a few bites of meat. We’ve had them a few times so it’s not just a one off.

The hotdogs are a must.

They have the best salsa bar jn town!

Skip the soup.

Long time customer – they had to have changed management or ownership; used to recommend to everyone for great food with generous portions at decent prices.

Not anymore, barely filled tacos that dont taste nearly the same – still decent but a shadow of what they used to be.

Went from taking half the meal home to still being hungry.

Used to be far more accommodating with substitutions and dietary restrictions, now its just “No we can’t do that” even if its just swapping a cheese.

Shame…

Best place in Tucson. Staff were nice and helpful. The food was amazing and we loved the little salsa bar they had. They have my favorite senoran hot dog of the city.

This entire meal came out to $53. The quality of the food is solid, everything tasted great. My only gripe is the price and the portion sizes. You could go to a taco stand and get almost double this amount of food for the same price. I’ve been going to BK’s since they were a stand themselves on the south side, It may be time to retire BK’s (and Guero) and give these local taco stands a shot.

These are among the best Sonoran dogs that you can find here in The Old Pueblo. A little bit overpriced but they are prepared really well compared to a lot of street vendors and we have stopped at several all throughout The South Side especially. The salsa bar is also well worth it to try the variety of choices they have here.

Drive thru windows. Tasty hot dogs, if you live 15 minutes away, suggest eating them in the restaurant or park the car and enjoy.

My favorite spot for Sonora dogs. Very well stocked salsa bar with complimentary steamed green onions and guero peppers.
