We got the £45pp set menu option. Food was good all around, meats cooked to perfection as expected.

Really loved the aubergine starter with the breads. Hummus I felt was overhyped, get it if you want to try it, but it’s nothing special really, some other options look better and I wish I tried those.

Good service but not stellar, waiting around for quite a while, difficult to get attention of the waiter in the corner. But over all pleasant and helpful.

Overall nice experience and amazing food, but honestly, not worth going out of your way for. Go if you can, but don’t plan around it or struggle to get a reservation. At that price point there are PLENTY of good options.

As always spectacular. Charlie is the hostess with the mostess. Along with Vasu we were looked after liked kings and queens. Defoe get the Greek white Malagousia. Stunning for this food or on its own. And such a beautiful space. Enjoy your meal!

Great Persian cuisine in Borough Market. A lovely experience with big flavours, nice cocktails and lively atmosphere.

It’s extremely popular, advance booking strongly recommended. Sometimes it’s possible to get on the waitlist if in the area, but not guaranteed.

Well worth a visit, reasonably priced for the quality and experience. Good location by London Bridge and a cosy restaurant.

Menu changes, but anything grilled meat as well as the bread with the variety of small plates is amazing.

People seem to have mixed opinions about this restaurant, but for me it totally lives up to the hype. Reservations can be hard to get, but the food is delicious, portions are fairly good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I love the vibe and the design, and it was one of my go-to spots. everything I’ve tried has been great.
The only dish that wasn’t really to my taste was the hummus, which has a different texture and flavor, though I understand it fits their innovative Persian fusion approach. The Oliveh salad is a winner, and the bread is especially delicious. I’ve been a few times now, and I always leave happy. Definitely worth trying, just make sure to book ahead since they’re usually very busy.

Really great value for delicious, flavorful food. Not sure whether it’s just in my memory or an off day, but I do feel like the soho branch is a tad better / well balanced. Dips and bread were amazing, as was the chicken. We went for a fish stew as well to change it up which felt extremely oily, albeit well seasoned… great texture on the rice and salad. Would recommend if you’re in the area and can manage to get a table!

Come hungry, but make sure you come. The service was phenomenal & the food was so complimentary of each and every dish. We will be back when in London. Highly recommend bar/ chefs seating to get the best of it all.

What a lovely experience! Berenjak Borough was the best Persian food I’ve ever eaten. Every course was perfectly balanced in flavour and prepared with meticulous attention to detail.

The quality of the ingredients is stands out and the ambiance is modern, vibrant, and yet very cozy, and the service is attentive, warm, and professional.

Highly recommend visiting especially with the rough competition next door.

The lunch set menus was exceptional value and drinks were reasonably prices

Food is 10/10 but service was poor at best.

We went as a group of 4 with a booking, and service was quite slow. As we were still eating, waiters started hovering and cleaning up the plates that still had food in. As I was eating some of what was left, a waiter came in, started cleaning the table and got all the crumbs onto my lap. We were then brought the bill and told we had to leave. Prior to this no one had approached us about telling us we might have to leave due to time, and they didn’t offer the dessert menu. When we complained, they said not much could be done as they needed the table. I then went to pay the bill, and service charge was 15%, way above what is normal. On the app to pay, it then also asks you to add a tip on top of the high service charge? For the level of service, this was poor taste. Overall spoiled the experience that would’ve been pleasant.

I have now eaten here 3 times, and I consider myself lucky considering how popular this place is, and deservedly so. Staying on business, I was eating alone each time and could only book counter seating, which I’m normally a bit hesitant about. However, the counter is around the very busy kitchen and provides a get view of all the activity going on within it, and the charcoal grill where all the meat is cooked. Service at the counter is swift and pleasant, and drinks come quickly. Food takes a little longer but you wouldn’t want it rushed. I have tried the minced lamb shoulder and the chicken kebabs and I couldn’t tell you which is better, both are absolutely superb. Berenjak ranks easily as one of the best places I have ever eaten, I would return again and again if it were easier to get a seat! An absolute must try if this type of food is your thing.
