Thai chain restaurant around London. Very dim lighting and tables are shared. Went on a late Tuesday evening and made reservations right before, which was nice. As far as food goes everything was good nothing wow!, but portions were a good size for one.

What was ordered:
-pad kwetio: 7/10, £16, great portion for one, i couldn’t even finish, comes w prawns, chicken, ho fun noodles & mushrooms which are my favorites, not as spicy as i thought
-chili beef jasmine rice bowl: 7/10, £16, great portion
-sweet potatoes fries with sriracha mayo: 6/10, £5.5, they came out quite cold, very soft, loved the spicy mayo with it
-white rice: 5/10, £5, points taken off because it doesn’t come w the curry you have to order on the side

I have read mixed reviews about Busaba in the main related to it now being a chain with complaints about portion sizes etc however, our experience was very positive. The Service was friendly and quick. We had a sharing platter starter which was big enough for three people let alone for the two it is designed for, no complaints about the portion size for the starter. I had the Songkhla Beef with my wife having the Crispy Duck noodles. Both the mains and starter tasted great, the marinade on the meat was really very nice. All in all I would recommend this restaurant. @ £35 per head for a drink, starter and main, in central London that’s good value.

Been to a few of these over last few years and generally liked the food – but just had one of the worst Pad Thai, ever.

It was fresh at all and suspect it was just old reheated dish ! Just a poor show and typically what happens when chains become popular

Absolutely amazing! Noodles, shingha, rice… all good. The waiters were helpful. Prices were average. We ordered one noodle and liked it so much we added another. They gave the children crayons.

If you like Thai food, come here!
I have been here many times before, the menu is great and so much variety, the food is excellent. I like the sexy dimly lit setting and shared tables, it didn’t feel too loud and we could hear each other, there was 3 of us and we sat next to each other.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a really pleasant experience. The booking process was straightforward, and when we arrived, the atmosphere was lovely. The team was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food itself was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bite. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d happily recommend this restaurant to everyone.

A good that in the middle of Soho. The pad Thai was great, I ordered the chicken one but keen to try also prawn. Also side dishes are good, we had the prawn crackers and spring rolls. Authentic seating plan and good atmosphere overall.

The food was very nice and tasty. That said, the service does leave much to be desired. Servers act like they barely tolerate your presence. From booking a table, being seated and taking your order they do the minimum required. Granted this is London I feel the food was a bit overpriced for the quantity and quality offered. Busaba has more locations, but our party of 10 booked hear as it had the best rating and was located in a convenient spot.
Paid around 50£ per person.
Bbq Chicken Noodles were very nice.

Thoroughly enjoyed the dishes and can’t wait to revisit. Wait staff were really helpful and gave good recommendations (it was my first time but my friend has been many times). Duck and calamari are musts!! Only 4 stars for atmosphere because the tables are shared and I’m miserable like like lol.

Had a very unfortunate experience with the service staff. We were seated immediately but from there it was nearly impossible to flag anyone to order, we were ignored often. After finally placing our order, we watched our waiter stand around confused while holding our food, we got his attention and told him he was holding our order but he told us we were wrong and gave our order to another group. We were ignored again by waitstaff when we tried to flag them down to correct the issue, staff were only made aware of it when the other groups actual food order came to the table. From there the manager took over and was wonderful, he was so kind and apologetic, got us our food quickly. We were given a complementary dish and a free top up of our drinks. The other staff were also apologetic as we left.

Food was very good, we did enjoy the dishes we had quite a lot – the only issue we had was that the Satay Chicken wasn’t very ‘peanutty’ but other than that the portion sizes were great and it tasted good. I would definitely like to come back another time and give it another go, I love the layout of the restaurant especially. It has large communal tables and a really nice ambiance.
