My wife and I came across Doc’s when we were out and about exploring. We really liked the food and atmosphere. I had the Italian beef and she had the grilled chicken sandwich, it was great. We’ll definitely come back to try some other’s.

Great location, less than mediocre food. The Philly steak was on dry hard bread and was very basic and more like beef hash than cheesesteak. Wife had the fish tacos which were pretty good, fried clams and chicken(bar food) were fine and the pizza had an odd citrus taste to it. Cash only added an extra $2.50 for an atm fee plus you had to pay for beach parking. Just felt cheap overall, drinks were styrofoam, sauces came in prepackaged containers. Service was decent though.

The location is the only thing this place has going for it. It’s right on the beach and the vibe is cool, but the food and overall experience were a big disappointment.

The pricing is ridiculous for what you get. Charging $10 for a hot dog is already hard to defend, but it was also overcooked. The fries were cold, and the fish was completely tasteless. If you’re going to charge “beachfront premium” pricing, the food should at least be fresh, hot, and seasoned. None of it was.

To make it worse, they only accept cash, which feels outdated and inconvenient. Overall, I won’t be back, and I’d suggest taking your money to a different spot with better food and better value.

We did the 2 hour dolphin tour with Jake and had a blast. Saw many dolphins and got to enjoy the sun. After our tour, we grabbed lunch and it was great. Got seated instantly and was in an out in 35 minutes. Only downside is that it’s cash only.

Definitely loved this place. Great views of the beach if you can get a table to look out. There is out door seating.

Absolute Best beachfront dining in Collier and Lee County. Great views. Great staff. Wonderful every time. Racking my brain to think of bad things. 1-hurricanes take it out every 5 years 2-it’s cash only. Other than that, there’s no better hang in SW Florida.

Docs is known for the place to be at for sunset. As it’s the only restaurant that faces west at the beach it is a unique experience in Bonita springs. After sunset go to the upstairs bar and get yourself a pizza and some beers. I really enjoy this place and it’s also an excellent place to watch any sports games most importantly football. The owner is a Chicago Bears fan.

Doc’s Beach House, Bonita Springs.

BEWARE!! Stick to the bottled beer & wine!

We visited here after following on facebook for sometime. Had hoped for a better experience. Setting was beautiful of course! Ordered 2 drinks that were basically juice & ice! Zero alcohol flavor. Went back for 2nd round and the girl taking our order informed my husband that they don’t have a hard liquor license so all mixed drinks are prepared with saki! Shouldn’t that be listed somewhere?! Nothing on the menu board or paper menu. How can you call a drink a “rum” runner without rum? We also had wings and a couple of apps which were fine but the overall experience was meh. Won’t be returning anytime soon.
