First time rating here at this BYOB and was pleasantly suprised with the quality of the food. We had Tortellini Alfredo and Lasagna for our main courses and the were both outstanding. We ate outside since the weather was so nice.
We will go back and try different mains next time.
Very affordable, especilly since they are a BYOB.

Speaking strictly for the bakery, I stopped in the morning looking for something sweet and left with what, at the time, I thought was way too many cookies—I’m not ashamed to admit, I was back for more later that afternoon. I got a couple of the classics with a chocolate chip and sugar cookie, then for the kids grabbed a chocolate chocolate chip and marshmallow, and m&m cookie. Oh, and two brownies for good measure. The servings are glutinous and surely packed with tons of sugar, but my goodness are they delicious. My only regret is they don’t sell half gallons of milk to-go.

Very disappointed with my experience. I made a reservation about a month in advance & confirmed my reservations twice (once with the owner over the phone & a second time via text). When I spoke with the owner, I confirmed we would need 3 high chairs. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the reservation, the owner said he could only provide 2 and we would need to “figure it out.” He was rude and dismissive and although we were technically early to our reservation, he said we had to make up our mind immediately or our table would be given away. If the owner would have told me explicitly on the phone that we would not have enough seats, we would have cancelled the reservation. What an unfortunate experience in a family friendly vacation town.

The staff here was very friendly! The food came out quickly. The food was a little bit disappointing. I ordered the vegetables lasagna. Some bites were piping hot, and some bites were freezing good. The lasagna noodles were delicious. They also had a limited alcohol selection. They just have wine from a local winery, almost all of it was by the bottle.

I was visiting Cape May for a weekend getaway with my family and sent my wife and her sister on a mission to bring back some red velvet cupcakes from this bakery while they were out shopping. Mission accomplished—sort of.

Unfortunately, the cupcakes were stale, and the frosting was rock hard. I figured maybe they were just cold from the trip home, but even after sitting out at room temperature, the frosting stayed firm enough to hold up a fork. Literally. I wish I were exaggerating.

The only thing more disappointing than the cupcake was the fact that I asked for two… and they weren’t cheap

Keeping it short and sweet! The pastries look well made. The Apple Turnover doesn’t have enough filling, yet it’s pretty crispy. The Sugar Cookie is what you expect. The cappuccino is okay, but it can always be better.

Overall, it’s a pretty affordable place if you’re just here for a quick bite or drink at the bakery.

I’ve only been to the bakery. If your looking to try some great French pastry then you must try A Ca Mia bakery. The croissants are flakey and buttery the best in all of Cape May. The filled pastry are all tasty, try the Chocolate Coconut croissant. They also have Cherry Cheese, Strawberry, plain chocolate and pumpkin too. If your looking for a great pastry and real good coffee give A Ca Mia bakery a try.

Stopped in yesterday at the bakery to pick up some items for a friend and decided to buy a loaf of their Tuscan bread. It was absolutely delicious! My wife made a sandwich for me (yes I’m spoiled) and it was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Great BYOB local restaurant in Cape May. During our last visit to this Cape May bakery, over 12 years ago my wife and I ordered a custom wedding cake for our wedding in Cape May. The French bakery chef prepared a masterpiece with hand created sea shells and meticulously prepared roses

We visited the A Ca Mia this fall again during off the typical Cape May slow-season, the owner Nikolai was gracious and offered a choice of seating inside or on the outer porch area. They offer a special prix fixe dinner.

We found this restaurant to offer excellent value, generous portions and delicious food. This is also a BYOB restaurant for those wine lovers. We found the service to be excellent  and personable, which was attentive and involved no waiting. One of the outstanding wait staffs, Gabriella was a pleasure to dine with with a snarky and playful attitude with all guests and stayed on top of our every wish.

This place was a great choice to eat for dinner. I got the dinner special of tortellini alla Alfredo. It was amazing. The lasagna that my family member order had the best marinara sauce I have ever encountered. It really brought the quarter Italian out of me. Very formal and requires slight cocktail apparel. The bakery was great too with the most delicious looking pastries. One thing was the service. It was great but some of the waiters seemed in a rush and didn’t really show a positive mood to the customers, but he was still proficient. Great place to go, definitely coming back. Ignore all those bad reviews, I looked at them and thought I would doubt going here, but the opposite occurred. 10/10 best Italian place in cape may. It is also very smart to get reservations here because there are many people that want to try the amazing Italian as well!
