This place is a real gem. Everything we ordered was outstanding! Their fried beans were so dilicious , so worth the money. So much flavor just in the appetizer. Pineapple chicken , was crunchy and tasty. Also I got wonton soup but I replaced wontons with noodles since I don’t eat pork or shellfish. The soup was so rich with flavor and comforting. We also had beef and onion dish , I thought it was ok, it was too much fat for me on the meat even though the flavor was there. Each dish is a huge portion, you can split one dish and you will be full. Loved this place big time, definitely would come here again . Also customer service was kind and helpful.

We went here last night for the first time and I was impressed. The food was everything the reviews said they were. We got the pork buns, fish platter, Kung pao shrimp, lamb cumin and steak-I forgot the name and it was all delicious! The only thing I wasn’t crazy about is that they don’t bring the dishes out all at the same time, but, I can’t ding them just for that.

Upon arriving we noted people standing outside and inside .
Was told 10-15 mins for a table , more like 20-25 mins
Trouble was, they have no waiting area , amd the area everyone was standing in was crowded with waiters and others waiting for togo orders . Kitchen was absolutely slammed . They need to have a separate area for togo orders .
Upon getting sat , we received the water and immediately went to order . It was 6pm and we really wanted Sweet n Sour pork . The male server offered no explanation except. “It take 1 hr to cook, we no let you order that! What else you want? “
We ordered Cumin Lamb with cilantro and pepper steak
Lamb and beef was delicious and so tender .
We received the lamb first with the white rice .
Since the lamb has no sauce , it was dry mixed with the rice . (Should’ve ordered soy sauce or fried rice ) But this was incredibly tasty.
The pepper steak, so juicy and tender , flavorful, lots of sauce . Peppers and onions were perfectly cooked, carrots a tad bit hard but still good .
The only other thing I didn’t like or pay attention to was, the drink prices .

Fruit tea was around $15

I always stop by Corner 21 on my way to the west from Indiana more than 400 miles away. I visited their old location back in 2022 and it was a phenonenal experience. I now go to their new location since the old location is closed at the time of the review. Their food never disappoints. I am a hard core Szechuan food fan, and Corner 21 has authentic food with large portions. It is not your typical cheap Chinese restaurants. One of the best in the nation, and I’ve been to many.

This is the best authentic Chinese restaurant outside of China that I have ever been to. Wow.. just wow! The food was amazing and delicious! It was freshly prepared and totally authentic. The real star of the night was the Beijing Duck. I have lived in China in the past and I’ve eaten Beijing Duck in Beijing and Corner 21 has it down perfectly. I can confirm that their Duck is authentic and that it is prepared exactly how it is prepared in Beijing.
Having lived in China and eaten authentic Chinese food, I have quite a high standard for how Chinese food is prepared and should taste. Corner 21 exceeded my expectations. The staff did a wonderful job preparing and serving our food. This place came highly recommended by my siblings and I was not disappointed.

Those that know me, know that I am very honest and opinionated in my reviews. Corner 21 is among the best Chinese food in the nation. Kung Pao Shrimp is incredible if you want spice. Pineapple chicken is great if you want sweet without the spice. Both are spectacular. I stopped halfway through my meal to review this.

Not my first time there, but I came back for a reason! The food here is delicious, and the staff are so very kind and helpful. I had the dumplings (delicious) for an appetizer, and the Chicken with Mushroom in a hot pot for the entree. SO GOOD. I also enjoyed the Peach Oolong Tea. My server, V, was fantastic; kind, helpful and attentive. This is my choice for authentic Chinese cuisine.
