I’ve been here multiple times, and, every time, the food is delicious! Completely obsessed with their chicken stuffed fried plantain appetizers. Friendly service, great atmosphere.

Ho-LEE sheeeeeeet.
This spot is the real deal. I guarantee you have driven by this place more than once but you never went it.
Food is unbelievably authentic, flavorful, and original.
Let me be clear, there are no chips and salsa…..this is not Mexican – it’s Dominican.
Everything was perfect.

For a restaurant labeled as Caribbean, they definitely had a decent array of flavors highlighting multiple countries in the Caribbean. The front of house, Luisa, She was very sweet and accommodating. It was our first time in any Caribbean restaurant, and she took her time to help us with selections, and gave us a little overview of what the food was like that they were serving, primarily Dominican, versus what it would be like if it were Puerto Rican varietals. Everything was wonderfully fresh and delicious, everything was served with care and love, you could tell the Chef puts a lot of love in the food! We were passing through, but we will be back because of this. Wonderful experience! I had the eggplant dish, mofongo, passion fruit juice, and shared a serving of the tres leches cake! My husband had fried plantains, a chicken dish stuffed with yuca, and soursop.
While we were here, it was not very busy with people seated and being served, but lots of takeout. It’s not usual that we would have had such an opportunity to and chat with the staff, we were very lucky in our timing! It’s evident that this is a cornerstone restaurant for the community!

I ordered some Calamares Frito, French Fries, and Pechuga Del Valle! The Pechuga has a creamy cheese sauce poured over chicken breast stuffed with sweet plantains & mozzarella. It was superb! French Fries is also very flavorful, I like this version. Meanwhile, I wish the Calamares is crispier. I think it’s chewier than it should be.
Overall, good food and beautiful place!

What a great surprise this restaurant was! We branched out of our normal comfort zone and this was our first time at a Dominican restaurant. We are so happy we did! The food was simple, hearty, and delicious, and very reasonably priced. The sweet plantains were out of this world delicious! The rice and beans were also delicious, though we would have liked more beans in proportion to the rice.

I’d go back just to order their juices made in house. I had the Mango juice, fried tilapia, plantains and house salad. Prices are good, portions are good, and my server was very friendly. Authentic Dominican style restaurant. The music and flavors made me feel like I was on vacation but in the comforts of home. Thank you Mi Casa!

A bit slow, but totally worth the wait. My palate wasn’t expecting such exquisite flavor balance from foods I’m not used to eating. Even the salad with the appetizer and the main course was perfect. I’d say I wasn’t a big fan of plantains, but the appetizer changed my mind. The main courses we enjoyed, including the pictured paella were incredible. We’ll be going back to try many more things.
