5/5 stars! Tokyo Sushi in Marion, IL is hands-down the best sushi around southern Illinois! The rolls were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor—my favorites were the Volcano Roll and some gorgeous tuna sashimi. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, service was fast and super friendly, and portions are generous without breaking the bank. If you’re craving quality sushi in Marion, this is the place to go. Highly recommend—I’ll be back soon!

I don’t understand what’s happened to this place but I just had my last meal. This was my wife and Is first date spot back in 2018. Move forward 7 years and this place has officially hit rock bottom COVID isn’t an excuse for the high prices and poor taste. Chicken so bland and dry, and noodles burnt and no flavors with burnt veggies for 17$ yall are crazy. Crossing this one off my list.

Surprisingly very good tuna here! Been to Japan and across the world eating Michelin star sushi.

Rice is seasoned surprisingly well, its just a little dense and thick per piece of nigiri.

Food was over cooked.. The teriyaki chicken tasted burnt and the pork cutlet was way over cooked and dry. Best thing about the meal was the soup and drink.. Egg rolls tasted frozen and store bought.. Definitely not worth the money..

Placed an order with doordash for fried rice dinner and yum yum roll which somehow totalled over $50. Food was absolutely awful and it was all thrown away. Salad dressing is disgusting, rice was soft and mushy like it had been sitting and the tiny pieces of mixed in was comical. The sushi roll was not edible and chewy. Terrible food.

Tried the daily special. It was ok, but not off the charts delicious.
Tried to get a sake recommendation but no luck. Still good selection & overall good food.

This is a small family owned and operated business very focused on customer service, which sometimes seems slow, but meals are freshly prepared with top quality ingredients. The intimate atmosphere is family friendly yet perfect for date night, with a full bar. Dining rooms and bathrooms are clean and well supplied. This is the best sushi, not only in Paducah, but anywhere around!

We came here for lunch while celebrating our anniversary. The sashimi was cut pretty thick, but the tuna and salmon were good quality. The red snapper was cut thinner than the others, but still thick and tasted vaguely freezer burnt. The gyoza were excellent. We also had the Chuck Norris roll (spicy crab, shrimp tempura, topped with torched beef and salmon) which was not only delicious but came out set on fire! It was an awesome surprise.
We will absolutely be back to eat our way through the rest of the menu!

Everytime I’m in town, I will always come to this place. Very nice, small, and cozy place to catch up on some good sushi. The staffs are friendly. My waiter was accommodating to my request for hot water. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in town.
