Stopped by for dinner after a round of golf. No reservations and they were able to accommodate us outside on the deck. Great waterfront restaurant right on the Manatee River. Beautiful views whether you sit inside or outside, especially watching the boats go by. The atmosphere is relaxed, the setting is hard to beat, and it’s a perfect spot to enjoy a meal by the water. Would definitely come back. Plenty of parking with a shuttle offered as well since the building is at the end of a Pier. Added bonus it was Wine Wednesday | $9 house bottles of wine!

Views are unmatched. Sitting right in the Manatee river, it was beautiful. Prices were reasonable when considering fine dining. I had expected the bill to be much higher considering the location and presentation, but it was surprisingly affordable for a nice night out. We tried the lobster pot pie, and they did not skimp out on the lobster chunks. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
Note that upstairs and downstairs are 2 separate restaurants, with separate menus/prices ranges.

Food was ok but the staff and the atmosphere made up for it. Only go if you can eat outside. The braised short ribs were tasty but not as tender as they should be. Salad was good, salmon cooked perfect. Beans and carrots were hard. Drinks were great, our server, Murphy, was fantastic and the golf cart driver, John, was friendly and helpful!

Had a great time at Riverhouse! They have shuttle service if you don’t want to walk the length of the pier. Atmosphere was great, with live music on the deck. Comfortable seating and a good menu.
I had the seafood jambalaya which was truly delicious.
Only point against the experience was our server, whose pace was…unbothered. No urgency or personality whatsoever.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the beautiful view of the river set the perfect atmosphere for a special evening.
Our waitress, Sam, made the evening even more enjoyable with her warm and attentive service. She was friendly, professional, and ensured everything flowed seamlessly.
The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish was delicious and exceeded expectations. The service was just as amazing as the food, making it a truly memorable celebration.

It was fine, I cannot recommend for a delicious meal but it was convenient and the staff was very nice.
Went here twice, months apart, and sadly was disappointed both times.
1st time, spinach dip was runny, shrimp app was tough and breading fell off, Grouper was salty, Lobster pot pie had little lobster in it and the crust was only on the top, the lobster roll was good, had large chunks of lobster.
2nd time, calamari was okay, had an odd cheese pairing, Brussels were oversauced and undercooked, brushchetta was disproportionate, the bread was very small, toppings barely fit on top and there was a lot of wasted salad let behind. Fish and chips were good, lobster mac and cheese was fine, on the watery side but fine, Petite filet was awful, very Petite, dry and tough with little side veges.
Atmosphere was great, on the water with nice views especially at sunset. The staff was great, friendly, attentive, they even fixed our wobbly table.

The location is beautiful! The bar tender was very kind. The food was good enough — I had the scallops and they were on point for the level of restaurant. The actual lunch service was slow for our party — or our party was slow. Either way, I’d come back

We had another wonderful dinner at the River House last night. Service by John was superb. The food was extremely good and very large portions. I had jambalaya that was done of the best I’ve ever had. I couldn’t eat it all!
We split calamari for a starter which came out perfect. After dinner we split a slice of peanut butter pie. Even that was delicious, although we weren’t able to finish that either.
We sat outside because it was such a beautiful evening are were treated by another spectacular sunset!
My after dinner coffee may not have been decaf! I certainly wouldn’t hold that against them if it was.
I feel they have raised their standards and we look forward to going back.

I recently hosted an event here with 110 guests and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The location is absolutely stunning with an amazing view of the water, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable 20 year class reunion celebration. The space was just right for our group—open, comfortable, and beautifully set up.
The food and drink service was top-notch. Every dish came out hot and fresh, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. Beautiful location, specially if you are going to watch the sunset. Service was really good. Burgers were absolutely amazing. Wings and the lobster rolls were so-so. We will be back for sure for those burgers.
