The service is very friendly and polite, and even gracious. My hot lamb biriyani was very hot indeed. As my first biriyani (I am a vindaloo person), I would order it medium or mild next time. I’m not sure the aromatic flavour profile lends itself to ‘hot’. That said, the staff offered to change my biriyani for a milder one free or charge when they saw me struggling. I know that the spice will mellow after a few hours in the fridge so I declined and took it as a takeaway. Sure enough, it was a delightfully aromatic breakfast the next morning.
I am very keen to return and try a hot vindaloo next time.

So this is our go to curry house and has been for a number of years. It is consistently very good however tonight the chicken tikka dhansak that my Husband orders 9 times out of 10, is not a dhansak sadly. It’s a madras base, more tomato sauce than usual, distinct lack of lentils and the sweetness that the dish usually has is missing. The usual dhansak from here offers the sweet and sour that one would expect with a good heat rather that the fake tasting heat from extra chilli powder which sadly this dish gave him today. We haven’t had food from here for a while and our treat has been very disappointing

Absolutely brilliant food, fast and friendly service, and always a positive experience!
I’ve eaten at a number of restaurants in the region, but this one is definitely right among the best. The venue is lovely, so I recommend you go eat in-house. Try the Lamb Pasanda and you’ll keep coming back. Thanks for the great service and fantastic food!

We’ve had takeaways from here that were delicious. Our group decided to dine in at the premises tonight and we loved it! Food is as tasty as ever. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend you either visit or get take away. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options so everyone can get something. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Chicken Thai curry was cold and the chicken was old and overcooked

Dumplings were wet and fell apart could even pick them up with a fork
Pad Thai was cold and more like a cake that needed slicing.
Phoned to complain and he said that all he would do is a 25% refund, was very rude and said he had trouble from my address in the past. We have only lived here for a month so what happened before didn’t have anything to do with me.
Terrible experience, terrible food, terrible service.

My wife meant to order from the village indiya Grays, but ended up ordering from Hadleigh! The guys were great and said they would still deliver, the food was really nice, I had a vindaloo which alot of places these days just treat as throw a load of chilli in, but this was full of favours. Kids had a Kurma and loved it.

It was the first time ordering here. We had a large family gathering so decided to get a curry. Very polite over the phone, they made a non menu item, and made alterations correctly. They missed one item, however I completely get that, it was a big order. They were very apologetic and the delivery driver was at my door within minutes. Great tasting curry’s, soft naans, and the best bhajis. All round fantastic.
