Decided to stop at this place because they had good Google reviews. It did not disappoint . Came on a Saturday for brunch and it was pretty busy but they were able to sit us quickly. This is a place where you order at the bar but they bring out the food very fast to your table. all the plates that we had were excellent and the coffee was on the strong side, but pretty good. The decoration and ambience of the place is also very nice. Would definitely recommend you to visit this place for breakfast or brunch or cocktails at night if you’re in the area.

My mom had come into town for a cruise and we stopped by for a brunch. Best decision ever! It was close by the port and food was delicious with generous portions. My favorite had the be the Bloody Mary where they made the mix in house. I would definitely come back! Great vibes and great food.

It was a unique place. I loved my breakfast! You ordered at the bar which was different and the baristas were going strong on making drinks. The atmosphere was a bit cramped and loud, but still really neat. I would go back!

Cozy with different kinds of seating to accommodate for large or single parties. Great music selection, clean, artsy, and very laid back. Great fresh food cooked the right way, aestheticaly pleasing. Glad I happened to stumble on to this little Gem.

Food: it was good and bad. The biscuits and gravy were pretty flavorless and the eggs were cold. The Leeland Benedict would have been good except the bread was rock hard, my poor butter knife was fighting for its life.
Service: coming from a service background, this was pretty awful. The poor host guy seemed to have no idea what he was doing. The servers aren’t really servers, more like glorified bussers. They don’t take orders, or have any real points of service. The bartenders were barky and dismissive at the same time. I was almost impressed.
Atmosphere: it has a cool vibe, but there was so much chaos with customers forming lines at the bar to place orders and bussers (servers?) wiggling through the maze of tables and people that it was hard to enjoy any aesthetically appealing aspects of the place.
Overall: not too sure I’ll come back, but if I do it certainly won’t be when they’re busy. Organization is a foreign concept here.

Leeland House offers some of the best brunch in Galveston, but getting a table can be very hit or miss (unless you’re ok with outside) and the ordering process is a bit strange.
The Leeland Benedict delicious with the eggs and hollandaise always spot on. Their brown sugar iced latte is also amazing. Other meals we’ve ordered were also delicious and generous.
The atmosphere inside is stylish and bustling. You seat yourself and order at the bar, then wait for your food to be brought out. Overall would be fine if there was no breakfast rush…but it gets a bit crazy at times, especially if you sit near the door.

I got the Burger with Truffle fries and Asian Wings. My friend got the Chips & Dip and the charcuterie board. We both absolutely loved our food.
Staff was very nice and the food came out surprisingly quick. I want to go back to try out their Gumbo

Everything was amazing! We had the espresso martini, Bloody Mary and mimosa, so delicious! The chipotle chicken hash, Texas Cuban and Sausalito chicken sandwich, chicken noodle soup, all home made fresh ingredients – excellent!! Not to forget mentioning the truffle fries – out of this world!
