Some of the best BBQ I’ve had in the Northeast. Best part was the prices were very reasonable and the place was cozy & welcoming. The attention to detail about how everything tasted was obvious. Meat was tender and full of flavorful. Places often phone in the sides. This place made sure everything was a star on the plate and all inclusions complimented each other. Deviled eggs were a perfect example of how just the right amount of mustard & onions made the eggs even tastier. The jalapeño was home run snack (Texas Twinkle) and the Brisket BBQ Bomb was delicious. They featured a good number of local beers. Nice selection.

Honestly not worth the price. Was out of several things so choices where slim. Cornbread was dry, pulled pork was barely luke warm, same with chopped brisket. Mac n cheese was decent and the sweet potatoes were good. It was a place that should only be tried once if that. Server was friendly and nice. Food was under average and just not worth a 2nd visit.

The bbq here is insanely top tier! The smoke ring on the brisket was easily 12hrs with a decent fat cap and tons of flavor. Same with the ribs. They had a perfect competition bite and tons of flavor. The collards were near perfect, as was the cornbread. Then we had the apple crisp…MIND BLOWING flavor! Our waitress Leannis was incredibly nice and made us feel right at home! Oh and I also had the best homemade lemonade ever here!

I’ve always had great experiences with Mr Sippy BBQ! Last night it was pulled chicken, brisket, chicken wings and deviled eggs. All a big hit with my family! On top of the great food, Cecil is also a big supporter of youth sports in Rochester! I can’t thank him enough for his support of Rochester Girls Softball League! Please visit Mr Sippy BBQ the next time you’re in Rochester! You won’t be disappointed.

This is a solidly serious southern BBQ joint.
I had ribs. I know some places brag about “taking off the bone” ribs. But I’ve been schooled in the don’t overcook the meat method and MrSippy’s were perfect. There was a modest amount of rub so you can taste the perfectly smoked meat.
Their homemade sauces are not thickened with a ton of sugar so they accompany the meat very well. Don’t get me wrong, they have sweetness, it’s just not overpowering.
I had the vinegar slaw which was very well balanced.
The atmosphere was what you’d expect of a small southern BBQ joint. I didn’t feel like drinking so no review there other than to say that others in my party enjoyed their drinks.
I really (really) loved the pecan pie.
Let me say that it is not too sweet as most tend to be. You can really taste the butter and molasses. Yum!
Our server was new but he was great. He had to ask others to answer our questions so that’s how we learned he was new.
This is my first time visiting friends and family in NH so I can’t say how the price compares locally, but it is line with reasonably priced places around the country.
This is an excellent place for great southern BBQ. I hope to make it back soon. And to see family. Yeah.

I love BBQ. I’ve eaten it in Texas, Louisiana, Memphis, Oklahoma, Maine, and other places as well as New Hampshire. This place holds their own. The meats were without flaw. Chicken, Turkey, Pork, Brisket. All amazing. And the sauce. The BBQ sauce was so good I think I’d eat a shoe with it. Hush puppies amazing. Potato Salad divine. The only hesitation I have is the Mac and cheese. It seemed as though is was just slightly short. Looking for something. I tasted the cheese. It was good. Don’t get me wrong. But with all the other greatness it just wasn’t quite there. Until I added BBQ sauce. I love this place. So many flavors and seasonings. Definitely a must visit. I wouldn’t EVER hesitate for a plate of take out. The pasta on the Mac was perfectly cooked. Everything was perfect temp wise. My only suggestion. Play with the Mac and cheese a little. Bacon. Some alternate cheeses. I don’t know. You guys are nailing everything else so well this should be a walk in the park to spin. Good prices. Good portions. Excellent local brews on tap. More than a 4 but just short of 5. 4.6 out of 5 . Great work overall. I look forward to coming back.

Finally got to check out Mr Sippy BBQ. Saw the New England Bluegrass Band this past Sunday. Great food and service! Just got the pulled pork sandwich band Mac and cheese. Can’t wait to go back with a larger appetite for their brisket and burnt ends.

I went to lunch today with a longtime friend and fellow BBQ enthusiast. The people at Mr. Sippy’s were very hospitable, we had great conversations with them, the food was phenomenal. We both opted for the pulled pork grilled cheese which did not disappoint. I look forward to my next meal in this establishment in the near future for sure. Keep up the great work

I can’t overstate how delicious my birthday dinner was last night. A chicken quesadilla is pretty simple food but it was so GOOD. It came with sour cream and the tastiest pico de gallo I’ve ever had (again, something that should be so simple but was somehow over-the-top delicious.) I went back and forth between the pico and the Mr. Sippy sauce because I couldn’t decide which was better. And the leftovers were just as delicious for breakfast this morning.
My husband had a burger from the specials menu and said it was the best burger he’d had in a long time.
