Just like others said, this might be one of the best, if not the best fish n’ chips I’ve ever had. Not oily at all, but very crispy. Dory, snapper and the chips were all nicely fried and delicious.
The owners, both the husband and the lady (big boss) were very friendly and accomodative.
Would highly recommend this place to anyone passing or staying in Hamilton.

My favorite fish and chips shop in Hamilton! Their fish is always fresh, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside — absolutely delicious. The portion of chips is very generous, and it’s always a satisfying meal. I visit almost every week; it’s become my regular go-to place. The service is friendly as well. Highly recommended for anyone who loves traditional fish and chips!

Usually go all the way to raglan for fish and chips but this one is WAY better (less oily and tastier) and just 5 mins away from our house!

A restaurant that you must visit in Hamilton. Owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Only costed us 25 for 2 people. The fish was very fresh, hence only a thin layer of batter was needed for cooking. One of the best fish and chips I’ve eaten.

Great fish. I went for the snapper for $6.80 which the staff said was just in, and wasn’t disappointed. The lemon works so well with it. Yum!
I had a small chips, $2, but you could get larger portions if you wanted. The chips could be a little crispier. They provide salt on the table, and I did need to add some to my chips. Clean premises, friendly staff. Would go again.

Fish was fresh and quality, chips were steak cut and well cooked, and the fried chicken burger was really flavourful, much better than the average fish & chip shop has to offer
