So – when I goy here, there was nobody manning the front desk. Had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to show up, and then got to order. Spent 13 bucks for a 4 piece tender classic meal, and got the spicy tenders with spicy bbq sauce.
The tenders were a little too sweet for my taste. They WERE very spicy, but they were more chili lime spicy compared to cajun or buffalo, which is a preference thing. I wouldn’t get the same thing if I came back, but I’d still come back for the fries alone, since they were very good.

Wow! Great service, food was hot, couldn’t even eat my fries right away they were so hot
My tenders I could see the steam coming off of them. Didn’t wait to long, even with the car ahead of me had 5 bags handed out to them

We stopped by Slim Chickens around 11 AM on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to find it nearly empty with just one other couple was there. There was plenty of free parking in the lot, and the restaurant was easy to spot from the main road.
I didn’t even realize there was another location in St. Louis, so this was a nice surprise! The food was great. We ordered chicken strips, fries, and garlic Texas toast. The portion size was generous for the price, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
What really made it stand out, though, was how perfect it was for my autistic son. He loved the garlic toast (a rare win for us!) and was totally hooked watching LEGO on the TV, which helped him stay calm and happy the whole time. The employees were friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience.
We had a great time and will definitely be back!

First time trying and it was really good! Very clean restaurant, and they have the nicest staff! We decided to split our meal because we weren’t too hungry and they overheard it and went ahead and split our meal for us on two plates when it was brought out. Highly recommend this place!

We all had tenders and wings. It was all good. The staff was very helpful with our order, making suggestions and offering advice. It was our first time and we don’t have one in California. Comparing it to what we know. Raising canes chick fil an etc. it was good and a little different. Jeremiah and Brooklyn were both helpful and checked on us multiple times. We would definitely go back.

Of all the Slim Chickens we have been too all over, I think this is my new favorite. It was clean and well decorated, but the food was really good!!! A lot better than all others!!!
My only complaint would be the peach tea was gross. I’m guessing it was old. Other SC have good peach tea.

I’ve gone to other locations where I ordered the 8 piece wings. Never have I’ve been given ONLY drummies. I perfer the mixture of both as I’m not a drum fan! Disappointed! I did call but was told the manager had stepped out! Didn’t call back because I don’t feel like going back out. Btw…the customer service at the window was nice.
