This is one of the better places to eat. We couldn’t fine a decent place to eat until now. The staff was friendly and she kept the used plates off of our table. The bathrooms didn’t look bad. I have seen worse. The food had good flavor also I had flounder that was moist.

I took my family there to eat on New Years Day. It was the worse experience that we have ever had there. The food was tasteless and old on the buffet, the ice cream was liquid goo in the plastic bucket. The service was poor, my daughter had to actually get her own drink refill. I could understand if they were busy, but I hardly call may 15 people in the place busy. The staff were standing around talking on their phones. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one. hmmmmm maybe that is why the food was bad and the service was poor.
Gave them another chance this past Friday. Not busy, dirty, staff rude, they did not keep the food full in the buffet’s and what was available was old and crusty. Prices up quality down.
Oh and they didn’t clear away the dishes, son had to ask for a refill, and when the check came, they asked for a 15% gratuity. Nope not again.

Won’t be going back, the servers were rude. My husband and son had waited 15 minutes for drink refills so I finally had to go and find one of them and then they acted like we was such an inconvenience. Almost half of the food on the buffet was empty, then the food that was there left a lot to be desired.

I haven’t been here in a long time only because it’s not in an area that I normally drive through. The last time I was here the food was decent and they had frog legs on their dinner buffet bar. Today when I showed up on a Saturday they did not have decent food choices at all. The place was dead as in no one was there around 5 p.m. most restaurants are packed. I can tell the reason why they had no customers is because the food sucked it was cold and the choices were low quality food that you would see on a lunch buffet bar not dinner. They were very quick to take your dirty plate which was nice but no one offered to give me a refill on my pop I had to track someone down. Their idea of cleaning was to leave a dirty bucket of water right on the counter where guests walked by to get their food I think this has to be against Health regulations because the water was stinky filthy and right by the food buffet bar. For the money and the choices of other restaurants nearby I will never go back thus leading them to an empty restaurant.

Food is always stale, the raw fish on sushi smells very fishy which is a good sign it was frozen beforehand. I got a personalized stir fry and it was undercooked and the imitation crab meat was still frozen before it got cooked. Egg drop soup had hardly any taste to it. One of the toilets in the women’s bathroom has been wobbly for months and there’s no handle on the inside of the handicapped stall, so much for privacy! The only reason I even go here because there’s no too many places in this boring town to eat at that is affordable and close by. This restaurant used to be a great place to eat at some years back and now it’s going downhill.

Food is always delicious here and staff friendly. Just wish they would open back up for dine in. I usually do the Mongolian BBQ, but can not since there is no done in. Every other set down restaurant is open these days. Still I do recommend the food here.

Very sad to see that this place is closed permanently now. I wish they would’ve been brave like Ten Ten and re-opened the buffet, that would’ve saved them. Before Covid, this place was packed on the weekends, so people would’ve came. Before they closed dine-in I came here on average about once a month since I was 5 years old. I have many memories here, from eating with my now deceased great grandparents to coming here after worship on Sunday. Now there is officially no buffet in Three Rivers. Rest in peace Big King Buffet. I hope something good takes your place.

Tried this place once before and it was NASTY. Gave it a year or two and this is the second time we have tried there and it was again NASTY at the peak of lunch time. The food was under-cooked, or so hot you couldn’t eat it, nothing was the same temperature, the seafood egg roll I had today tasted of CHEMICALS. my hubby and I spent our afternoon in the restroom after eating here. The young man that was seating people when we first arrived seemed so not thrilled to be at a job. non of the staff spoke to any customers. we were not thanked or invited back or anything. We will NOT be coming back ever nor will I be suggesting to anyone.

Got there at 11:00 am still closed didn’t open until 11:15. Four people I. restaurant, but they couldn’t even keep up with the drink refills, or clearing the table. Food was OK not the greatest. Floor wasn’t cleaned before opening, still had food remains under the table. For a better experience I would recommend travelling to Sturgis to their Grand Dragon Buffet.

Food selection is less than desirable. The staff is not friendly or welcoming at all. They wait til the cup is completely empty before offering a refill. The bathroom was not clean and the food didn’t taste very good. I would not recommend this to anyone.
