Great service here, but we were the only 2 dining there tonight. Had the sukiyaki, it was ok. Sashimi was ok as well. Deep fried oysters was not bad, sushi rolls are large, tasted ok. Beef tongue was thin, texture was chewy.

Portions are very large and some of their rolls were quite interesting. For a sushi resturant, the quality of fish was not amaizng. I enjoy the outdoor patio by the water.
There was only one server and it took us 45mins after we finished eating and waving him down three times for us to receive the bill and pay to leave.

This is the only sushi spot along the seawall from Yaletown to English Bay. We usually pass by without going in since the menu isn’t cheap, but I finally tried it once with my brother. We ordered a few rolls, tempura, and a pitcher of sangria, and the bill came to $120 for two people. The service was great and the food quality was very good, making it a memorable experience. Just keep in mind—it’s pricey and you might not leave completely full.

We tried this restaurant by chance. It had good reviews and there were only a few people on the patio. It was excellent. One of the servers was in training and she did a great job. We went with the menu recommendations, and it was really delicious. Highly recommended.

Hoshi is an amazing restaurant, the food was delicious, the sashimi tasted really fresh and was prepared with care, also visually stunning! The tempura was not overly greasy and tasted great, the desserts were also tasty! The rolls were also delicious, a lot of different choices to choose from! Would recommend this restaurant to friends and family!
On top of the food, the restaurant is in a great location with views of the water and boats from the patio and inside. The owners are incredibly nice, friendly and caring and the servers are attentive and hospitable. The area itself is beautiful for a walk around after dinner as well, there is free visitor parking in a underground once you receive a pass from the restaurant. Will come back again for sure!
