We were a group of 3 visiting Lam Bo Buffet. Unfortunately, the experience was not great. Some of the food was cold and had no taste . The salmon was not fully cooked, which was disappointing. I hope they improve the food quality and temperature in the future.
Definitely am not going back there again.

Lam Bo Buffet was the scariest place to eat my Sunday brunch. Food was no so great. Cheapest buffet in Houston and you get what you paid for. This place was so crowded. I was there in the summer after shopping at Goodwill store next door. The table and chairs were sticky. Not coming back.

Lam Bo was a Chinese Buffet I frequented consistently years ago till around 2009 when I moved to a different town. Back then I really enjoyed this restaurant so I knew what to expect. The service was Great, Big selection of dishes, Clean and Spacious with sections available for parties or get togethers of large crowds. My only issue is the food what is just plain stuff I could find at other restaurants. Yes they offer fresh sushi, soups that were Fresh and Flavorful. But other dishes were just plain. They need to kick it up a notch.

Lam Bo Chinese Buffet on Westheimer offers a wide variety of dishes at an affordable price. The buffet has everything from seafood like crawfish and shrimp to classic Chinese favorites. The staff are generally friendly and attentive, and it’s a good spot for a casual, budget-friendly meal. Some dishes can be a bit hit or miss in flavor and temperature, but overall it’s worth trying if you want variety.

Great place to go. I went two days straight & they are very kind & friendly. Honestly, I love this buffet. I seen so many folks saying their food was cold & had me scared to visit, but the food was fresh & hot. I just go soon as they open up which is at 11:00a.m. Thanks for having me!

Honestly as it concerns buffets it is well kept and has a large variety of food options. The one downfall of most buffets is that the don’t season appropriately as they are cooking in bulk. They do not have such a problem based on the dishes I sampled for the majority. The service was ok across the board. Some wait staff was more attentive than others but if all u need is refills u can’t ask for much as u r for the most part serving yourself. If I had to give one criticism it’s the bathrooms. Some of those doors don’t lock well and one ply is the name of the game for tissue and paper towels. All in all it was a good experience nonetheless

Went during lunch it wasn’t crowded, stick to what you know. Rice, Lo Mein, egg rolls were good. But the orange chicken and general chicken had a real poultry taste in spanish chukilla taste before I tasted it, I smelled the “chukilla”. They need better chicken maybe or soak it in vinegar and lemon at least. I’d go back cause of the price but like I said stick to what you know.

I love it here. I see not that many people like it, but maybe it holds a special place in my heart because I’ve been going there since I was a kid. I also always get the same three things, the lo mein, curry chicken, and Mac and cheese. My favorite combo lol. Their selection has gone down over the years for sure, though, but my same three choices remain, so I still love it.

Great service the staff are amazing, they keep the restaurants well-kept and clean. The food is also fresh and tastes great. They were bringing new portions every 15 minutes or so. The selection is a bit lackluster but the quality is good. Best buffet in the area by far.
