Full of flavor and quality, our party of three ordered combination plates: two #1 (Sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein, and fried prawns for $15.95), and a #3 (Garlic chicken, BBQ pork fried rice, and foil wrapped chicken for %15.95). We were served egg-flour soup to start. I thought it was fine, because egg-flour soup has a delicate flavor profile, but my companions thought it didn’t have much flavor. The garlic chicken had plenty of flavor, great texture, and little bits or onion, peas, and garlic. The rice and tinfoil chicken was equally good. My partner thought it was the best Sweet and Sour Pork she’s had, but mentioned the noodles were a little overly salty. While the price of Chinese has risen to the point it’s not as affordable as it used to be, the quality and flavor is spot on.

My fiance and I went there for the first time today. We were pleasantly surprised with the restaurant; it was spacious, clean and inviting. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food brought back childhood memories for my fiance. We were both very happy with our food choices, will definitely recommend and be back for more great food.

Take-out: I called in and ordered a plate meal; Chicken Chow Mein and Chicken fried rice. Pickup Service was timely and food was ok. The 2 portions were small for the $17.00 price . I guess everyone is cutting back on portions and raising prices. It’s probably best to eat inside the restaurant verses ordering to go.

Our family LOVES the food at Golden Bowl in Hughson. They offer a wide variety of menu items; each one fresh and delicious. Take out is great, as well as Dine-in. The owner Wendy and the servers are personable and attentive, the food portions are good, and the prices are comparable/reasonable.

The food and service here is amazing! The taste flavorful and fresh! Must try the spicy green beans, and sechzuan prawns are my favorite so far. Highly recommend the Jasmin tea, and the decor is high quality for a small town Chinese restaurant!

First time here with my family. We were a party of 9. They greeted & seated us quickly. We ordered the egg rolls, spring rolls, & wontons Some of us ordered combos & others shared plates that were chow mein & sweet and sour chicken. Everything came out at the same time. I ordered a hot tea for my drink. It hit the spot. They were so sweet & called us hun. Made us feel so welcome! Thank you! I will be here again in the future 🙂
