I ordered 2 king subs. 1 turkey and 1 ham with everything except tomatoes. I also ordered fries and onion rings. I hadn’t been to a Mr Submarine in more than 5 years. The taste of the sandwiches is not how I remembered. Not bad, but not as good. They also seemed to be more skimpy than I remembered. The fries were good but the onion rings are not something I’d buy again. I spent $24. Probably won’t be back for another 5 years ♀️.

Today, I had a taste for an oldie but goodie – MR. SUBMARINE! Since I was in the Cicero area, I decided to stop by the closest one. The location is a bit of a smaller one, but the food was, nevertheless, great! I got the combo sub and a side of fried mushrooms. Yummy!! The 2 ladies working there were very nice. The place was clean and welcoming too. Next time I’m in the area, I may very well stop by again.

This is a late review-I ordered this sandwich on February 18th, earlier during the year. Nevertheless, I will give an adequate and honest review from my own personal experience with this business. I can’t remember which delivery service I used but what I loved most is the customer service from the owner. He called to verify my order and toppings on my sandwich and made sure I was satisfied as a customer. I give him 5 starts for customer service. The sandwich itself was loaded and very filling! As far as flavor, I must be honest, the sandwich was subpar. There was nothing in particular about the sandwich that made it memorable or so satisfying that I would just have to order it again. Overall, I would recommend this location based off the service I received. If you’re looking for a quick, filling lunch, nothing to pretentious, then this is the place to go!

Omg I can’t believe this place had good reviews it’s awful, dirty, and the pricing is outrages … I ordered a gyro sub … the tomatoes were old sour the cream sauce was disgusting and the gyro meat was not grilled and put on like a sandwich looked awful. I thru up after and I wanted to take the sandwich back but I decided it wasn’t worth it …if that doesn’t make you not want to go there …there’s still more. The girl that took my order was rude on the phone and in person.

At one point this was my favorite Mr Sub place to visit for my Glam-Gurl lunch for school.
I ordered 4 sub sandwiches and the didn’t get the order correct, so I decided to call to make them aware and received really nasty reply as to it was my fault.
Very poor, rude and bad customer service and probably will never go back., when all was needed was to correct the mistake and move on.

I liked this place before and had good reviews but now my mind has changed because my over stomach feels not so easy when I ate there sandwich and when taking that bite and finding a hair in it definitely changed my point of you for this place! And reaching out to them to let them know that day the girl said I’ll let my manager know did I ever got a call never because they didn’t want to face the fact that they’re losing hair and dropping it in your food when they make a sandwich disgusting so if you want hair in your food and you want to taste it deliciousness want to feel that hair rubs against your teeth and tongue well come on down to a place where they serve you their own hair and DNA to put in your mouth!

I been coming here for almost 30years and the place is still standing. Moved out of Cicero but always have the itch to come in and have a sandwich whenever I’m in the area. Love their cold corn beef. The place can perhaps use a little remodeling but perhaps it would lose its old-school charm? The only thing I’m sure of is that I love their sandwiches.
