Dined here again tonight & ordered the Taco trio of chicken, pork & beef with rice & beans…delish! Can’t go wrong with any dish here…Luz’s Texas margarita is tasty
Love this Latin restaurant…Liz is everywhere, not missing a beat! Refreshingly quiet background music for a change. The Pabellon Criollo was delish…shredded beef, black beans, queso fresco, rice & plantain We’ll be back for more soon!!!

Wow! This is an amazing place to eat in Blue Ridge. They serve Mexican, Colombian and Venezuelan food. Everybody loved their plate and it’s inexpensive. The lemon dessert is the owners’s recipe. You need to try it. We definitely find our eating spot when we come to Blue Ridge. The restaurant is handicap accessible.

Food was delicious. I got the appetizer cheese bread and it was fresh and hot, so so good! Shrimp tacos had plenty of shrimp and were stuffed. Refried beans were perfect consistency, queso was delicious, husband loved his arepa (I forget what kind he got). Complimentary chips and salsa to start which I always think is a nice touch. Prices are great for how much you get and the quality! Staff is amazing, quick, and very friendly. Would def recommend and come back.

We were very excited about the menu when selected by this spot for dinner. We obviously arrived after a busy rush as empty tables were still waiting to be bussed, so we sat at the bar. And waited. It took quite awhile to be acknowledged but our server was pleasant once we started.
The dishes were quite large and very tasty! But at first we were served the wrong items, which was fixed. Then our vegetarian empanadas came with a side of beans that had large chunks of meat in it. This was also promptly fixed.
We had the spicy margarita which had big chunks of jalapenos in it…but was not at all spicy.
Overall good and we’d go back, but we’d know to ask for certain adjustments to our orders to ensure they met expectations.

Dang the food was really really good here. I like most establishment, especially restaurants in the United States. This place is understaffed. I did ask the bartender if I could order something to go he said no gotta order upfront and then had to wait for 10 minutes for someone to take my order upfront, although there were only two tables there. Then went to the bar to have a beer while I waited on my to go food and the bartender was gone and the server grabbed me a beer. Of course, no draft beers were operating so it’s a bottle beer. Either way place is good.

I wish I could say I enjoyed my recent visit to Guagio Latin Flavors, but my experience was unfortunately subpar . The restaurant is very clean and the aesthetic works well, however I personally wasn’t a big fan of the food. The chips were somewhat stale and our entrees tasted meh. Still, the wait staff was very nice! Guagio didn’t do it for me, but I wouldn’t write them off completely.

Guagio is incredible. It really has something for everyone. Everything from the diverse menu to the special sauces. I think my favorite entree is Alambre, but everything I’ve had has been delicious. The margaritas are really great too and prices are very reasonable. The only one thing I would recommend is better quality tortilla chips. It’s a small thing that goes a really long way, especially because their dips are so good. I’ll be going back many, many times. Thanks Guagio!

After having had several bad meals at the more popular restaurants in town, we decided to check out the more local restaurants and were pleasantly surprised by Guagio. I did not have high expectations when my wife suggested this, but I was open to try it and glad we did. I had the Al Pastor Quesadilla, which was pretty basic. Once I added the table sauces to it, it was good. My wife had a chicken and avocado arepa which was delicious. The house salsa is very basic, tasting more like cheap marina sauce. The 4 table sauces they give you when you sit down are very good and help add some flavor to the salsa provided with the chips. The service was great and food was quick. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone.
