This is a great local brewery and restaurant! I had a flight of beer and they were all delicious, and I definitely recommend that you try the Adios Bitchachos Mexican beer. We shared the big pretzel with beer cheese, which was huge, soft, and so yummy. For dinner, my friend and I ordered the French Dip sandwich and steak frites and shared. I definitely recommend that French Dip! You won’t be disappointed!! Our server, Milad, was great at advising us about beer choices and the food. And we really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Must have been an off night but we came in a little after 5 this Sunday. We were one of 3 tables so you’d think it would have been great service. So slow. Took 10+ min to get our drinks. Took awhile to get the food, our kids order wasn’t even started when the adults got their food, due to either server or kitchen error, wasn’t sure what he said was the reason but no compensation was offered. My chicken wasn’t tossed in the Nashville sauce and he offered to take it back and do that for me. Wish I hadn’t. The truffle fries were good before he did that, disgusting after. Whatever the Nashville sauce was, was pure oil. I think the pizza looked good but had pizza recently and thought hot chicken would be hard to mess up. Slow service and few people eating there made perfect sense. Won’t be back. Pic of the bottom of my basket, I had to transfer my food to an appetizer plate because there was about 4 oz oil in the bottom of a chicken tender and fries basket. I’ve already thrown up from reflux since I got home or I had considered not leaving a review.

While the food and beer were good its what happened after visiting that I’m upset about. Visited on a Sunday afternoon in November and had an ok experience while there. After leaving I realized I left my wallet there. I called to make sure it was there and was told they had it. I returned within an hour to retrieve it. 3 days later someone went on a shopping spree using my debit card. Too coincidentally right? So I called and spoke to the manager. I explained everything and was reassured he’d go back thru video footage to look for anything suspicious. 2 weeks go by without a response so I call back. This time the manager isn’t there and spoke to the head brewer. I once again explained the situation and was reassured once again he’d look over video footage. Currently neither of them have returned my call. At this point my gut instinct says that an employee there is responsible for the fraudulent charges using my card. I in good faith waited to hear back from either of them but nothing. I cannot recommend visiting this Bankhead location for this reason. Hopefully they’ll take better care of their customers concerns in the future.

Went here for a late lunch. Was not very busy and had plenty of parking. Server was very attentive, our group’s drinks were always filled. Food came out hot, had good presentation, but personally I was not too impressed on flavor of anything. My steak was appropriately cooked for medium rare with expected firmness and trimmed lean (no excess fatty parts). Horseradish sauce tastes like the typical creamy horseradish that is often served. The fries were the good kind of fries I like, firm and crispy outside and not too thin. I also tried a piece of the garlic flatbread with the BLTA Dip and other than mild tang it was not memorable. The rest of my group had their own complaints like the chicken was dry on their salad and their burger was burnt. Might give this place one more go and try something different to see if it was just what I chose.

This is a great place! Jason took great care of us. The best service. We had a couple of their beers, which were great. We shared a Hot Honey pizza. So good!! The crust has to be some of the best crust I’ve had. I know there is construction on the road leading to it, but it’s worth getting there! Do it, you won’t be disappointed!!

Remy was an outstanding waiter and truly made our dining experience memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. The service felt genuine and welcoming from start to finish. On top of that, the food was absolutely excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. Between the amazing service and the incredible food, this was a wonderful experience, and we can’t wait to come back again. I’ve been coming to Bankhead Brewery in Farmers Branch regularly over the last month and a half, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Their chicken fried chicken entrée is absolutely incredible — it’s always cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and so satisfying every single time I order it.
On top of the great food, the service here is excellent. Every visit, the staff has been consistently friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything I need, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find a place where you can count on both amazing food and such a welcoming atmosphere, but Bankhead Brewery really delivers on both.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for a great meal and top-notch service!

Great Appetizers. Mid/Subpar entrees. Slow service.
The goat cheese croquettes and meatball starter plates were good. The chicken tenders in their Nashville sauce was abhorrent. The beer flight was decent but overpriced.
The service however was the worst I’ve experienced in a while. Very slow. We asked for a box and it took them nearly 30 minutes before we got it brought to us and then we waited another 20 minutes for the check. I can understand slow wait times for the food but… for a to go box and the check? c’mon now. The staff was super friendly though— just incredibly slow.
Also the ONLY music they played was mid 2000’s-2010’s Fallout Boy sounding music. So if you like that then this place is for you.
