I’ve ordered cakes here a few times, but I won’t be returning due to the staff’s attitude. On 1/20, the employee who “assisted” me spoke in a condescending and dismissive tone when I asked questions and when I made simple requests on the cake decoration. She also appeared to be on a personal call the entire time using an earpiece and said, “Hold on daddy, imma have to call you back,” while helping me. Extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable experience but I needed the cake and cupcakes, so I placed the order.
I called on 1/22 close to 5:00 pm (2 days before the original due date) to reschedule for the following week due to bad weather, a man took my call and confirmed it had been re-scheduled.
I called today (hoping I could add some cupcakes), a day before the party, and the same lady, again with the horrible attitude, tells me the cake has been ready since 1/22. They’re expecting me to pick up a week-old cake! They said they didn’t get any calls telling them to re-schedule it. I can confirm I called the same bakery. This has been the worse experience. Wouldn’t recommend… and the lady with the bad attitude should not be working customer service.
