My very 1st visit, I happened upon a perfect parking spot on a different side of the building in search of a different restaurant… and there it was – El Fresco! So, I came in for brunch and decided to stay to study and relax for a few more hours!
I had a bowl with steak and shrimp over rice, along with some refried beans. Pretty good overall…it could’ve used a bit more seasoning, but that’s easy to fix with a little salt and pepper.
Since I had my order delivered to my hotel, I can’t speak to the restaurant’s decor or the in-person service. However, the gentleman who delivered the food was very polite and even thanked me for doing business with them.
I’ll be back in Virginia next month and will probably order from them again, or maybe stop by the restaurant if I have time.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. Every dish we tried was fresh and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were of high quality, and the chefs clearly take pride in their culinary creations. From the sizzling fajitas to the perfectly seasoned tacos, each bite was a delight. The salsa and guacamole were freshly made and the perfect accompaniments to our meal.
One of the most impressive aspects of El Fresco Tex Mex Grill was the fast serving time. Despite the restaurant being busy, our food arrived quickly, and the service was efficient without compromising on quality. It’s rare to find a place that offers both speed and top-notch taste, but El Fresco Tex Mex Grill manages to do just that.
Overall, El Fresco Tex Mex Grill offers a fantastic dining experience with tasty, fresh food, quick service, and a welcoming ambiance. It’s great value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Tex Mex cuisine.
I decided to try the Carne Asada Con Cameron, a standout dish at this Tex-Mex restaurant. It features marinated grilled steak, and succulent shrimp served on a bed of Spanish rice, topped with fresh Pico de Gallo and melted cheese sprinkled with cilantro. My meal also included pinto beans, a small salad with ranch dressing, sour cream, and tortillas on the side. It was delicious, filling, and reasonably priced for the portion sizes and quality.
The food was generally good, with a standout being the vegetarian chimichangas – crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. The veggie tacos, however, were a bit of a letdown, falling short of expectations.
Despite this, the reasonable prices made the overall experience worthwhile. If you’re looking for a place with good vibes, friendly service, and decent Mexican food at a fair price, this is a solid choice.
I’d definitely recommend trying the vegetarian chimichangas.
The burritos were pretty good. Meat was good quality and the toppings were well balanced. There was good taste to both the handheld burrito that I ordered and the plate of sauce topped carne asada my husband ordered.
The salsa bar had couple of good spicy salsas. Enjoyed them with the chips and ro add more kick to the burritos.
We also ordered the street corn. We were ok with that one. It looked very good but it was the steamed variety so not crispy ofcourse and a little messy. But that’s ok… its oyr personal choice that we like the grilled corn on the cob.
All in all we were glad we stopped by. W have found a decent place to pick up burritos.
