I opened a drinks tab and had three drinks with a total bill of $28 USD. After settling the bill, the next day I discovered a total of $39 had been charged to my card. I returned at 11:30 a.m a few days later (as we were out of town) to sort it out but was told by manager Michael R to speak to Jason B but thar he wouldn’t be in for a few hours. I’m happy with that and can wait.
I left details and expected Jason to call, but he never did. When I phoned later on in the day to follow up I only reached an automated voicemail promising a response within 72 hours, not helpful since I’m leaving tomorrow.
For the amount involved its not worth me going back for a third time! If they are that desperate for the money they can keep it! Very disappointing and won’t be returning
Check your receipts very carefully and do not set up a tab!
The food was top notch, I had the fish dip for an appetizer and the blackened grouper sandwich for dinner with a slice of key lime pie for dessert. Everything was very delicious. Breakfast was just as good. Highly recommend the chorizo breakfast sandwich.
We will certainly be making another stop here in the future.
I currently work at a “Five Star rated” restaurant and know the value of quality food/presentation, service and the importance of atmosphere. I really like this place (been here three times so far), and will be back. I feel it is a bit over-priced, but food is uniquely prepared and good, wine list is decent, desserts are average, coffee is really good and service is mediocre. However, I come here for the VIEW. It’s absolutely gorgeous! It’s like stepping into another country. I realize I could come here and just have wine and appetizers, but the food is good enough that I’ll pay that overpriced amount to relax, enjoy a decent meal/drinks and watch the sun light up the white boats in the harbor. I’m sure I’ll be back again. They could probably use better front and back of house management to offer more consistency, creativity and better service, but overall I like this place and hope it fine-tunes the details.
Marker 92 Waterfront Bistro is an exceptional restaurant that serves up some of the best breakfast dishes in the area. I recently had the opportunity to visit this lovely establishment and was blown away by the quality of their food and the excellent service. In particular, their American Breakfast with New York Steak, Eggs Benedict with Steak, and Brioche French Toast were all standout dishes that left me thoroughly impressed.
Firstly, the American Breakfast with New York Steak was a hearty and delicious meal that left me feeling satisfied for hours. The steak was cooked to perfection and had a mouthwatering char on the outside while being tender and juicy on the inside. The eggs were cooked just the way I like them – over medium with a runny yolk. The breakfast potatoes were crispy and well-seasoned, and the side of fresh fruit added a refreshing touch to the dish. Overall, the American Breakfast with New York Steak was a perfect way to start my day.
Secondly, the Eggs Benedict with Steak was another standout dish that I highly recommend. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked with a runny yolk that oozed out when I cut into them. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The English muffin was toasted to perfection, providing a satisfying crunch that complemented the tender steak and creamy hollandaise. The dish was accompanied by breakfast potatoes, which were just as delicious as the ones served with the American Breakfast.
Lastly, the Brioche French Toast was a sweet and indulgent treat that satisfied my sweet tooth. The brioche was thick and fluffy, and the cinnamon and vanilla flavors were perfectly balanced. The dish was topped with fresh berries and a dollop of whipped cream, adding a refreshing and creamy element to the dish. The French toast was cooked to perfection and had a lovely golden brown color, adding to the dish’s appeal.
Overall, Marker 92 Waterfront Bistro is a must-visit restaurant for breakfast lovers. Their American Breakfast with New York Steak, Eggs Benedict with Steak, and Brioche French Toast are all standout dishes that are sure to impress. The quality of the food and the exceptional service make this establishment a fantastic choice for a memorable breakfast experience.
