This Mexican restaurant is an absolute gem — hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. It’s our go to place almost every other week. Everything about this place is just amazing, from the food to the vibe. The portions are incredibly generous, and every dish is packed with flavor and made to perfection. Our favorites include carne asada, burritos, fajitas and caramel flan.
They celebrate birthdays so well, making you feel truly special, so don’t miss this spot if you’re planning a birthday celebration. The energy, the atmosphere, the music — everything comes together to create such a fun and unforgettable experience.
Honestly, the vibe alone is worth coming for, and when you add the outstanding food and warm hospitality, it’s perfection. Five stars from me across the board — food, service, portions, and atmosphere. This place is a must-visit!

The waitress provided nice and attentive service. This dish is a new definition of Surf and Turf. The lobster tails, shrimp, beef, and chicken were succulent, and the rice and beans had a distinct flavor as well. My compliments to the chef or chefs! This dish can feed two people. If you have $100 to spend, I highly recommend it for a special occasion. I give this tasty behemoth two foodie thumbs up. If you want to taste Hispanic food with a unique flavor, look no further than this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

We have been to Chidos in Laurel, MD several times. We are always satisfied. Everyone is very friendly. The food is delicious and they serve it quickly. The price, compared to other restaurants, is very good. The “strawberry and lemon marriage margarita” is a must-try!

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was incredible, our drinks were refilled and dirty plates cleared very quickly. Our server, Jose B, was really nice and friendly. My partner and I even commented that this is the best service we’ve received. It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back.

Chido’s Tex-Mex Grill is truly a gem! From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm, friendly service that made the entire dining experience feel personal and welcoming. The staff was attentive and accommodating, which made a great impression.
The food? Absolutely fantastic. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The standout for me was the fish — it seasoned just right and it was delicious.
One small suggestion: please consider serving lemon on the side rather than squeezing it directly onto the food. While I understand the intent is to enhance flavor, not everyone enjoys lemon, and in our case, the chicharrón had a strong lemon taste that overpowered the dish. If the lemon were served separately, it would allow guests to add it as they prefer — a simple fix for an otherwise flawless meal.
Aside from that, I highly recommend Chido’s to anyone looking for delicious Tex-Mex with top-notch customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Food was great! Drinks were delicious. Also it’s so cute on the patio section. I really enjoyed my fajitas and it wasn’t too crowded. I really enjoyed this place.

Yuengling, 24oz, $6. Modelo, 24oz, $8. That’s the kind of pricing that makes you forget you could’ve dropped the same cash on one cocktail elsewhere, or even on a tomahawk steak at Fleming’s.
I’m fine paying full freight for tacos and fajitas when the drinks don’t feel like I’m mortgaging my house. $14 tacos? Good. $20 fajitas? Solid. Combo plate with three choices at $16? Fair deal. Food is flavorful, portions are right, and nothing felt phoned in.
Bottom line: if you’re a beer drinker, this place is worth your time. If you’re just here for the food, you’ll still leave satisfied. But together? It’s a winning combo. We’ll be back — and next time, we’re bringing friends and colleagues along for the ride.

Vibes are always great here, perfect spot to celebrate a birthday or just enjoy a night out. The service is consistently top-notch and the food never disappoints, easily a 10/10 every time. Ask for Rogelio if you want an amazing experience, he always goes above and beyond! Highly recommend the steak enchiladas paired with a watermelon margarita, you can’t go wrong.
