I had my bridal shower here and it was truly the most perfect experience. From the moment we started planning, Kate was incredibly kind, organized, and helpful every step of the way. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that the day felt special.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and having someone so thoughtful and supportive made such a difference. The space was beautiful, everything was handled so well, and I was able to fully relax and enjoy celebrating with my friends and family.
I’m so grateful for the care and effort that went into making my bridal shower so memorable. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for somewhere to host a special event, this is absolutely the place to do it!

I had my baby shower hosted at Kate’s and it was AMAZING! Not only was the food absolutely incredible but the team at Kate’s is just unmatched! Communication with Kate was effortless and I felt very heard and taken care of immediately. I was able to drop things off before the shower and when we arrived an hour before the event started, they had everything decorated for us and all set up! It was so nice to just be able to soak it all in without having to worry about the details. The staff was so professional and kind, they waited on us and our guests hand and foot—making sure we had anything and everything we needed. They helped tear down after the event and packaged up all the extra food up for us to take home. I would host an event here any time I could, it’s a well oiled machine and they have everything rehearsed and well thought out. The care, hospitality and kindness that Kate’s exemplifies is just unmatched and we were so lucky to have our event there. I received so many compliments from my guests that my shower was just so incredible and they had such a great time! I would recommend Kate’s any and every time! 100/10!!! Thank you Kate!!

Dear Kate, I wanted to personally thank you for the brilliant catering job at the Blue Water Ally Center this past Saturday. You outdid yourself in the your quality of food and generosity. I never expected anything less but what a wonderful surprise. Everyone loved the food. it went rapidly. Next time, I truly hope that you will stay because it was a great night. First time at Katie’s Downtown today. The service was excellent. They have serval ladies running food, making coffee, and taking orders; they were all lovely, kind, and had wonderful customer service. I didn’t really care for my “What the Fig” sandwich. The bacon was under cooked and I felt the fig jam took over the whole dish. I did order a vanilla latte and it was pretty good. I did however absolutely loved the heart sticker they placed on my togo cup to prevent it from spilling. It was a very nice touch. Over all the atmosphere is adorable and I will go back to try other dishes; they have lots of options to choose from. They were very busy at lunch time and obviously have regular customers who enjoy going to Kate’s. They also had an assortment of cookies with some vegan options I would like to try as well.

Walking in here felt like the set of every movie and television show of people going to a small town. The staff went all above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. If I lived in Port Huron I would be a regular. The staff was exceptional. Thank you!

This was my first time here but definitely not my last! I was immediately greeted with such warmth. I ordered the special for the day and the shrimp/ crab soup was so delicious I had to pay compliments to the owner. Kate and Jennie were absolutely wonderful and it felt like seeing a family member when talking to them. I suggested they kept this item year round because it was that delicious and you can tell time and love was put into everything they make. I told my friends and family about this place and will be back. Thanks again Kate and crew.
