I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I’ve shared photos for reference. I ordered butter naan, which was partly burnt and partly undercooked. The onions we requested were not fresh, and the chicken curry was sweet with undercooked chicken. We couldn’t eat it and ended up leaving. They didn’t allow outside water and sold bottled water at an higher price. Additionally, while there were no extra fees for cash payments, I was charged an extra $6 for paying by card. Our bill came to around $46, and it was definitely not worth it.

Confused by the bad reviews. We have eaten here before and loved it and our experience today was absolutely wonderful. Ms. S (I can’t recall her name at the moment) was very sweet and the food was delicious as always. Reasonably priced for the quality. Will definitely be back again in the future!

This is the worst place to ever go. The food was partially burntand partially undercooked . They give you burnt roti while claim it to be Naan. The staff is extremely rude with no manners or ethics. When I told her that this is not what I ordered instead of apologizing or addressing the issue she started yelling. We asked for refund after her misbehavior as we didn’t even touch the food. She refused and was extremely rude. We left the money with her and left.
Please don’t get scammed by this place. They will charge you first and bring the worst food you can ever eat .
Ridiculous place and behaviors!!!!!

We arrived in Galveston late in the evening and wanted to have a Indian dinner. The nearest restaurant shown was this one that was open and kids were hungry.
Unfortunately it was a wrong decision for us to go here.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone to this place.
Our experience were pretty bad… with handwritten menu, burnt Roti & Naan & curries didn’t tasted fresh or good, felt undercooked.

The only good part was the host was nice.

⚠️WARNING‼️ DO NOT EAT HERE! We’re in town for a Carnival Cruise. Staying a couple nights in a Airbnb. I was in the mood for Indian food. We door dashed from this place as it was the only available option in Galveston. For starters the pictures don’t do justice. The quality of the food is HORRIBLE!!! Everything came frozen like a block of ice and smells disgusting. Obviously not freshly made. No rice was delivered for the Paneer Tiki Masala which every Indian cuisine I’ve ever had comes with it. A slice of the Paneer Naan was eaten before the delivery. The Kheer doesn’t look appealing as a block of ice.

I obviously reported all of this to DoorDash. I also called the restaurant and spoke with an Indian lady. I assume she is the owner. I explained the upsetting situation I had going on. She wouldn’t even allow me to speak over her arrogance. I tried to explain to her about the situation and she continued to interrupt me. She said no rice comes with your meal. We have the best Indian food in Texas, blah blah blah. I informed her that if she could not allow me to speak I would hang up which happened.

The worse part of this, she calls back screaming at me, cursing and telling me she’s coming to our address to pickup the food. Completely disrespectful, arrogant and horrible behavior. If you want to experience the worse Indian place in not just Texas but everywhere in the states. Enjoy!!! If you take this review serious then please stay far away, I honestly should have read all of the reviews before ordering. So in a sense it’s my fault. But hopefully everyone who reads this will learn from my personal mistake.

Really great, fresh food. We went in tonight at 8:30 pm. Ordered vegetable samosas, pakora, garlic naan, chana masala, butter chicken and kabobs everything tasted fresh and really delicious. We really loved the butter chicken but everything was good. My son in law, who is from India, was with us, and the Mrs was Indian approved! We appreciated the good service as well even tho it was rather late in the evening. We were all very glad we tried it and would recommend it.

Went to Galveston- searched for halal restaurants. This one came up and this is the only one on the island.

Food was not good .

The gentleman who was there taking order – cooking and serving the food was fine .

And when we were eating some kind of bug was walking on the table- couldn’t finish the food – after that – asked for a to go box .

He gave one – and the box was not clear too – may be it was there for a while –

Took the food – but eventually decided to trash it .

Dear restaurant owner – the call pest control before city officials close you down .

And definitely hire a good chef.

Otherwise you will have to close the business soon .

If you need halal food – then go to Huston downtown area .

Please don’t go to this place. I feel bad to let food and money go to waste.
They don’t have any hearts to serve.
We waited for about ten minutes for someone to take our order, even though the restaurant was empty. I decided to make it easier for them, went to the counter and gave the order. After a while, another person comes to us and take our order when I already placed. As if they have our best interests at heart.
I ordered Tilapia, and it turned out to be much saltier than sea water, which I couldn’t eat. I have eaten a variety of fish my entire life all around the world, and this was the worst, horrible experience. Also, I have no idea why one fillet looked totally different than another one. And the carrots they served were dry and old. We ordered pakoras hoping they would fill our stomach for the drive home, but they were burnt. I was thirsty, but the little tiny straw they gave me made me feel more tried to finish our lassi.
They never said thank you ever after over charging the price without any price change notice. I also noticed for the first time a restaurant using garbage bags to cover frozen drinks in the cooler in the main hall.
Felt really sad to get treated like that. Walked out empty stomach.
