It was out first time. Service was pretty good. The lady was nice hut for got our order…it seemed like she was running for the bar and the diner.
Food was good, I’m not much of a crab puff gal, but I liked theirs. Perhaps this is how they should taste. The oil must be cleaned all the time to look the same but taste better.
We aren’t always this far into Portland. But I know, we’ll come again!

Crispy duck was WAAAY to dry. Orange chicken too spicy. House rice is a meal in itself and filled with shrimp. Pork dumplings were great also. They don’t answer phones and don’t open on time. Bar and liquor was great, great atmosphere, great cocktails.

Fast, efficient service: the water and the menu were at my table a second after I sat. The waitress brought the tea and the soup quickly. The chow fun was tasty and filling with a good ratio of noodles, vegetables, and chicken. The waitress checked in with the customers a few times during my meal, and handled the check and payment with the same professional efficiency. Back again Jan 3 2025 – this time I had the twin kung pao special (chicken and shrimp) served with egg flower soup, spring roll, and a little metal cup of very hot Chinese mustard. All very tasty.

The atmosphere is escapism from the hustle and bustle of inner Portland: Lloyd District. The employees are very friendly and funny: in a very Chinese kinda’ way 😉 There is a local bar scene off to the left, to the right is maybe 10 booths, and behind that there are 2 banquet rooms. The food is generally good, the prices fair under the circumstances (2025), the atmosphere is perfect 100% Chinese. Reminds me of some of the off alley restaurants I eat at while in China for 1 year: Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu, Weihai, ect. But only a few people here (all take-out orders)…so I miss the NOISE….and the CROWD…..of China….other then those 2 things….I love this place. Oh, and the outside could use a bit of paint and a pot-hole or two filled in the parking lot. But for me, it’s what’s inside.

They have claimed to be gluten free on some menu items over the phone only to inform me the opposite while trying to confirm gluten free foods later. They have been inconsistent in their information. Do not eat here if you’re gluten free.

Ordered the salted pepper prawns, dynasty chow fun, and egg rolls. Egg rolls drenched and dripping with oils, inedible. Salted pepper prawns were very greasy and devoid of any flavors of salt or pepper. Chow fun noodles were mushy and had no flavor. Would not recommend.

I am on a mission to find the best sweet and sour pork in Portland. This place isn’t even close. Man are they stingy, the portion size is insulting. I want to leave full! The pork was chewy and flavorless. The sauce.. meh.
Not impressed.

We had this delivered to us and had a very large order. The food was mediocre at best. The fried rice was flavorless, one of the chicken dishes was supposed to have peppers and came with no peppers and celery. The pot stickers were the best part of the meal.

Not only was the service awful , it took forever and I was charged for packets and for fortune cookies. What Chinese restaurant doesn’t give out fortune cookies with purchase and also why the packets of hot mustard , no authenticity at all ?!?!
The woman was very cold and rude. The food honestly is way over priced. I will NOT be back and I WILL be telling this to others how awful a experience it was.
Place is empty on a Friday dinner rush for a obvious reason.
Waste of time And money.
