The lasagna was great (had to dump it out of the bowl onto the plate to cut it because of my recent wrist injury so that’s why there are two different pics), our server was fabulous. I want to go back sometime and try one of the chicken dishes and the salmon!

We went to dinner here last night for the first time. Within the last year, I have acquired the taste for salmon. And have ordered it in several different places. Bistro 130’s salmon dinner, I think it’s called Honey Crusted Salmon. The title sounds good, so I went for it. OMG. I have never tasted something so good in my life. I have no idea how they prepare this dish. But going off the title, you can imagine. The honey is on the piece of fish, along with all over the plate, for dipping. The fish has the slightest hint of a crunch or crusty thing going on. The dinner is paired with a rice and broccoli. I don’t go out of my way to eating broccoli. But with the honey glaze, yeah, none left on the plate. I just can’t say enough about my dinner.
The service on the other hand was a bit sketchy. The staff was friendly and all, but that only goes so far.
I think all tables wanted more bread. But ours never came. Even after asking for it , multiple times. The drink refills were not so good. We had multiple glasses that were empty and didn’t get refilled until after the dinner was over.
My friend, who has been there a few times said, “They always miss the small things”. I would go back, for the food.

Highly recommend the braised short rib! It’s tender, melts in your mouth. Very flavorful. It comes with risotto and a vegetable. Great place to go for date night or to celebrate a special occasion. Make sure save room for dessert – the cannoli are very good!

Small, but mighty. A wide-range of Italian & seafood options prepared to perfection & more than reasonably priced. The same variety, preparation, & price comments also apply to the drink menu. The most satisfying dinner experience I’ve had in recent memory.

I am being truthful-I am experienced national traveler, home is local to CLE. Service was above average for sure. Apps we had, & several, average on cost & taste ok, even though mussels were below average, really bad, bad. Entrees, below average for sure…but… alcoholic beverage’s were abysmal! Never-EVER EVER have I been served the un-drinkable old fashion that gaged me like tonight-knew the second it was served to me this is unacceptable A red old fashion!!! Red! Nasty, instantly gagged me to where i regurgitated ..sent back to only get a 2nd just as horrible-additional, its a dirty establishment from ceiling vents, to CARPET stains that are ubiquitous to undesirable rest rooms. I am 100% transparent and for 3 of us at 256 dollars w tip, know what you may be getting into-wish you well-but, 1/done. Rated-2/10

I really want to like this place. My wife order 2 pizzas, they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Got there 30 minutes later. Paid and then started waiting. I had to wait about 30 minutes more. They were very apologetic and did offer me a drink. When they finally brought out with pizzas they explained that the kitchen was down to 2 people. I understand things happen that are out of their control and I wasn’t upset; they did include a $10 gift certificate! However when I got home and opened the boxes we discovered the toppings were literally tossed onto 2 cheese pizzas after they were cooked. We have never seen anything like this before. In the end the pizza tasted OK and we will try again because of the gift certificate. Just unusual.

Bistro on 130 is certainly a hidden gem !
We have been here 3 times now, both lunch & dinner.
Service & food has been spot on.
The food is excellent! Top notch. I have never had more fresher Marinara sauce, repeatedly from any other restaurant in Northeast Ohio. Their sauce are all so delicious.
Fried mozzarella w/ marinara is alway a go to for us for an app. The bread is yummy. Eggplant Lasagna, YES! Chicken Marsala & Picatta is my personal go to.
My latest visit, an appetizer special, Arancini w/ a blush-pesto sauce, OH MYYY… it was so amazing I ordered more !

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the outside but WOW. It’s a nice, quiet restaurant with amazing ambiance, food, and staff. It’s become one of my new favorites! Tip- if you like chicken picatta, order the chicken francaise and ask them to put capers in it! You’ll LOVE it, a great suggestion by our waitress!
