But the real star of the night is the food. Every dish was bursting with flavour and presented so beautifully it almost felt a shame to touch it — almost! Each bite was unforgettable, and the cocktails were just as impressive, crafted with so much care and creativity. The photos I took don’t even come close to capturing how amazing everything looked and tasted.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves exceptional food and a truly memorable dining experience.
I’ve previously visited Tattu London, so I already had high expectations, and I can confidently say that Tattu Birmingham absolutely lives up to the same high standards. The atmosphere was stunning, elegant, and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a lovely night out. Everything from the ambience to the overall vibe felt well thought out and luxurious.
Although I didn’t order a main dish, I chose several small plates and I was pleasantly surprised by how filling they were. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour you can really tell how much care goes into both the appearance and taste of the food. I truly enjoyed every bite and felt completely satisfied by the end of the meal.
Thank you to Tattu Birmingham for such a memorable evening. Myself and my friend had an amazing time, and I’m highly pleased with the service, atmosphere, and food. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant to others.
I’ve given 4⭐️ for now and would happily make it 5⭐️ once more halal options are available on the menu.
The cocktails were exceptional (creative and beautifully presented), the food was outstanding from start to finish, and the service was faultless without ever feeling overbearing.
A special thank you to Nico, who truly looked after us and made the whole evening unforgettable. Attention to detail, warmth and genuine hospitality like that really elevates an experience.
An incredible first visit — we’ll definitely be back.
The waitress treated her workplace like a private Tinder date. She focused exclusively on my partner, ignored me completely, and even sat down beside him while taking the order. This crossed professional boundaries and made me feel disrespected and invisible.
No guest should feel sidelined at their own table. For a restaurant that markets itself as luxury and charges accordingly, this behaviour is simply not aligned with fine dining standards.
The evening ended with me feeling uncomfortable and eager to leave. That is not the memory anyone should take from a high-end restaurant.
Following the visit, I raised my concerns directly with management. While I received a polite response and a formal apology, it felt standardised and procedural rather than genuinely empathetic. In a restaurant that positions itself at a premium level, one would expect a more personal approach when a guest leaves feeling uncomfortable and overlooked.
Luxury is not only about interiors and presentation, it is about how guests are made to feel. Unfortunately, in this case, that aspect was missing.
On arrival we received a warm and professional welcome from the charming and very polished Maite d’ Alesso. Once inside, the opulent décor, with the abundance of beautiful cherry blossom and atmospheric lighting, set the tone for an indulgent evening, perfectly matched by beautifully presented dishes that were as bold in flavour as they are refined. Very extensive menu choices – Something to suit everyone’s taste! Every course felt thoughtfully crafted, balancing innovation with authenticity. The service we received from Maria was attentive, knowledgeable, and effortlessly polished without ever feeling intrusive. Whether for a special occasion or simply an exceptional night out, Tattu offers a sophisticated yet welcoming setting where great food, impeccable service, and a striking environment come together for a thoroughly enjoyable and an unforgettable and special Dining experience! Highly recommended!
The food was amazing, full of flavour and well presented! There were lots of options for drinks and seems to be a specially curated experience.
Atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing.
Service was exceptional! We had Vahbiz who was just excellent. She was attentive, friendly, charismatic and made sure we got all what we wanted and needed throughout the night!
Would definitely recommend and at different times of the year as they seem to have seasonal dishes and drinks!
Reception was polite our booking was for the female birthday as state on booking, they asked while being taken too our table & asked if we was dressed up for a special occasion. So clearly didn’t look at our booking that annoyed me a little.
On the booking I asked to seated Into a booth to make it feel a little more romantic but that wasn’t achieved either. I thought it might of been because they were busy but that was not the case.
There was 3 sections and they must of wanted it to look like a busier place than it actually is. As 2 sections were empty as I was sat on a very cluttered small 2 person table which all the tables were really close to each other.
Food was over priced for quality and portion size, the food come out quite gimmicky and I was pre-warned that they have the lazy wagamama style serving bring things out when they are ready not when all the tables starters or mains are ready.
Our food came out incorrect and then I was given an option of the wrong one being made again or get some chilli flakes to sprinkle on top to make the bland food spicy, I requested that it be cooked again but how its described unfortunately they must of thought us blind or stupid they topped up the dish with bell peppers and sprinkled flakes on top you could tell they hadn’t been cooked through the dish. We ordered the lobster and prawn toast and the only flavour that overpowered the dish was the sesame seeds that covered the top of the dish. Might aswell charged me £16 for the seeds.
So their site lies to you about how they will treat you on your special night, they are over priced, very gimmicky on presentation, treat you like you’re stupid.
Personally I would never recommend this place to anyone, I witnessed someone walk out leaving half their food uneaten. You wouldn’t do that if the food was truly amazing.
Oh also its a very limited menu. I would suggest people save their money and go to wagamamas.
