Great service. Didn’t have to wait long considering there was no one in line when we got there. The guy taking my order was very friendly and quick to help me when I got there. The taco stand has a great Mexican vibe going on. portion sizes are great for the price. I will be back! I got the birria ramen And quesabirria. Very good and tasty food!

Such a disappointment! Saw the reviews an the giant birria sign so we had to stop by an give it a go. I got elote an birria super fries. No chile on corn an fries were so small an cold like how? This took forever an it taste store bought. My partner got a birria super burrito an didn’t get any meat until he was more than halfway through the burrito it’s mainly lettuce. Mind u no one was there but us an we waited over a half hour. Won’t be going back. Check out el taco on centennial they’re authentic good service indoor an better than this place in every way. 45 bucks for this yal.

First time eating here today with daughter. Food was great prepared. Fresh dialote corn cups was delicious. The horchata was very flavourful and on point. We ate the quesa baria taco and two street tacos. In addition to the corn. The meat was tender, not dry on both taco styles. We’ll be visiting again to try the other menu items.

My first time ordering food from here but not my husband’s. I got the breakfast sausage burrito and he got 2 asada tacos. Overall the food was bomb, but my only suggestion is to make the salsa verde spicy. It isn’t spicy at all and a bit watery. That is the only reason why I give the food 4 stars. Other than that estaba muy rico.

Their Pamboza is elite. I also enjoyed the esquites and the horchata. Oh and I liked the salsas they both went great on my Pamboza.

Just go! Right now! Why are you still reading?!? Some dude said it’s expensive but he must be comparing to taco bell. This was so good that I didn’t say a word while eating. The red salsa is amazing. Sorry for a picture of an empty plate but there wasn’t a thought to get a picture…

Moved up here a year or so ago from Vegas and I’ve been slowly visiting each of the food trucks.

I miss the vibrant food culture in Vegas and so far I’d found some trucks that came close, but none that really hit me with that authentic southwest Mexican American fusion feeling . . . . till I stopped here. I’m not throwing shade at anyone else’s truck, but Amaya’s place is special.

The first thing you’re going to notice is the delicious aroma wafting out of the open kitchen window: birria taco meat, the spice combo she’s using in her dishes, and the scent of fresh chopped cilantro, onions, and tomatoes! I’m not gonna lie, my mouth was watering as I stepped up to the window to order.

The big dude manning the window is so friendly, and Ms. Amaya can be seen crafting meals at the prep stations and grill-top in the back.

The birria tacos and asada nachos here are fantastic! Do yourself a favor and snag a couple tacos and some elote street corn while you’re here, sit back at the tables under the canopy out front and just relax and enjoy the meal.

Amaya’s is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Springfield! The food is amazing (especially the quesabirria) and the service is great! They do have seating but it is outside so don’t expect a full on restaurant. Doesn’t take away from the quality of the food or service though.
